Nelson Javier Rodriguez

Mr. Rodriguez, 20, of Manchester Township, died June 24, 2007, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had lived in Point Pleasant Borough before moving to Manchester 10 years ago. He was a dog trainer for PetSmart, Brick. Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his father and stepmother, Nelson Rodriguez and Elaine DeLuca of Manchester; a sister and three brothers, Teresa, Francisco, Anthony and Danny, all of Manchester; a niece, Deanna; and a nephew, Noah. Interment was private, with Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, in charge of arrangements.

Lois L. Nicola

Mrs. Nicola, 67, of Long Branch, died June 26, 2007, at Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation, Red Bank. Born in Brewer, Maine, she resided in Brick prior to relocating to Long Branch two years ago. She was a housekeeper at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was predeceased by her mother, Irene Gonyer. She is survived by a son, David J. Nicola of Long Branch. Entombment was at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Dolores F. Gesslein

Mrs. Gesslein, 77, of the Central Park section of Old Bridge, died May 24, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Her husband, George, died in 1992. Surviving are five children, Bruce of Brick, Elaine Amato, George and Gloria, all of Old Bridge, and Gregory of Cranford; a sister, Corrine Toussaint of the Toms River section of Dover; a brother, Walter Blodgett of Scotia, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services were under the direction of Whiteley Funeral Home, Perth Amboy. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Middletown.

Peter T. Dellera

Mr. Dellera, of Nokomis, Fla., died April 5, 2007, at Venice Regional Medical Center, Venice, Fla. Born in Elizabeth, he had resided in Freehold for 20 years, as well as in Brick, before moving to Nokomis seven years ago. Prior to retiring, he was a regional sales manager for the Kiwi Shoe Polish Corp., Pottstown, Pa. He was a veteran of the Army Medical Specialists Corps. Mr. Dellera was predeceased by his wife, Shirley, in December. Surviving are two sons, Bruce Mittleman of Farmingdale and Mark Mittleman of Freehold Township; a daughter, Wendy Most of Trenton; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Most. A memorial gathering was held June 28, followed by a memorial service at Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold.
