STOCKTON Roland B. Roadenbaugh Sr., 69, of Stockton died Monday, June 25, at Doylestown (Pa.) Hospital.
Born in Stockton, Mr. Roadenbaugh was a lifelong area resident.
He was a farmer and also worked as a truck driver. He drove for Tarantola Trucking in Flemington for 17 years before retiring in 1998. Earlier, he drove for Mercury Motor Express of Tampa, Fla., from its New Jersey terminal.
He formerly was a police officer for Solebury Township.
He was a member of the Teamster’s Union 107 in New Brunswick.
During World War II, he served on the Delaware Township Civil Defense Team and was a first aid instructor for the American Red Cross.
He was active with the 4-H of Hunterdon County.
Mr. Roadenbaugh was a member of the Stockton Rod and Gun Club, the Delaware Rosemont Hunting Club and the Lambertville Fishing Club.
He was the son of the late Herbert and Madeline Spain Rodenbaugh and brother of the late Harriet Suozzo, Dora Schmitta and twins Madeline Kerr and Herbert Roadenbaugh.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Ott Roadenbaugh; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Roland and Ali Roadenbaugh Jr. of Doylestown, Wade Roadenbaugh of Stockton and Robert and Karen Watson of New Hampshire; two grandchildren, Hunter and Haley Roadenbaugh of Doylestown; his sister, Blanche Carl of Stockton; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Saturday at Rosemont Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, Lambertville.
HAMILTON Samuel S. Marrone, 89, died Tuesday, June 26, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Lambertville, he was a resident of Hamilton most of his life.
Mr. Marrone was retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad as a freight clerk in Morrisville, Pa.
He was a member of the DeCou Senior Citizens Club and the Hamilton Coalition of Senior Citizens and served as past president of both groups.
He was a Hamilton Township Democratic committeeman.
He served as an usher at St. Raphael’s Church where he was a member.
He was the son of the late Joseph and Sabbeta Ottaviano Marrone, widower of Rose Marrone and brother of the late Nicholas, Joseph and Peter Marrone, Amelia Santone and Dolly Daniels.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Mary R. Marrone-Polo and Frank Polo, a son and daughter-in-law, Samuel J. and Anna Marrone and his companion, Lucy Tazza Polo, all of Hamilton; two sisters, Connie Francavilla and Elizabeth Torriero, both of Pennsylvania; his grandsons, Anthony M. Marrone of Hamilton and Sam M. Marrone and his wife, Becky, of West Virginia; three great-grandchildren, Michael, Nick and Jessica; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, Hamilton. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at the church. Burial was in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Hamilton.
