June 26 at 1:41 p.m. Reported smell of gas on Route 32 at Canal Walk, Solebury Township; one engine responded with 15 personnel on duty for 30 minutes. It was found to be the Texas Eastern Gas company clearing gas lines.
June 27 at 7:33 a.m. Reported smell of gas in the area of Route 32 and the toll bridge, Solebury Township; one engine responded with 13 personnel on duty for 30 minutes. Texas Eastern still was clearing gas lines.
June 27 at 1:02 p.m. Alarm system on Bridge Street near Sugan Road, New Hope; one engine responded with nine personnel on duty for 30 minutes.
June 27 at 1:45 p.m. Two engines responded to Route 32 north of Paxson Road, Solebury Township, to assist Solebury police; 15 personnel on duty for 45 minutes.
June 27 at 4:25 p.m. A general alarm was sounded for reported smoke in the Upper Elementary School on Bridge Street, New Hope,
The general alarm brought engines from New Hope, Midway and Lambertville fire departments and the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad.
The smoke was from a motor on a fan on the third floor of the school. The Eagle had 18 fire personnel on duty for 1.5 hours.
June 27 at 10:32 p.m. Alarm system, Meetinghouse Road near Creamery Road, Solebury Township; one engine responded with 15 personnel on duty for 45 minutes.
June 29 at 6:30 p.m. Tanker 46 dispatched to standby at the Dublin Fire Station to help cover the upper part of the county due to large senior citizens center fire in Quakertown. The tanker and its crew where on standby for 5.5 hours.
July 1 at 12:22 p.m. Two-vehicle traffic accident on Route 32 near Aquetong Road, Solebury Township; rescue Unit from Upper Makefield Fire Company also responded.
One person had to be extricated from one of the vehicles. Victims were treated by the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad and medics from Newtown. There were 21 personnel on duty for 1.5 hours. Eagle fire police also helped control traffic at the scene.
