Mrs. Dozier, 71, of Manalapan, died June 11, 2007, at East Orange General Hospital, East Orange. Mrs. Dozier was born in Bessemer, Ala., and had resided in Manalapan for the past 36 years. Prior to retiring, she was a cosmetologist at Romeo and Juliet Beauty Salon, Howell. She attended Bethel A.M.E. Church, Freehold, and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Starlight Chapter, Plainfield. Mrs. Dozier was predeceased in 1994 by her husband, Vincent. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Troy and Christa L. Dozier of South Bound Brook, and Vincent Dozier Jr. of Sicklerville; a daughter, Annette Dozier of Egg Harbor Township; a sister, Eleanor Louise Savage of Laurel, Md.; a granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. The viewing and services were held at Bethel A.M.E. Church, followed by interment at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown.
