Dolores F. Gesslein
Mrs. Gesslein, 77, of the Central Park section of Old Bridge, died May 24, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. Her husband, George, died in 1992. Surviving are five children, Bruce of Brick, Elaine Amato, George and Gloria, all of Old Bridge, and Gregory of Cranford; a sister, Corrine Toussaint of the Toms River section of Dover; a brother, Walter Blodgett of Scotia, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services were under the direction of Whiteley Funeral Home, Perth Amboy. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Middletown.
Frank E. McGuffin
Mr. McGuffin, 90, of the Cheesequake Village section of Old Bridge, died June 25, 2007, in Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Surviving are his wife, Florence B. Paterek Chmiel McGuffin; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Susan of Pennsylvania; two stepdaughters, Elaine Keohane of Randolph and Janice Chmiel of Winfield; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia section of Woodbridge.
John David Zezenski
Mr. Zezenski, 70, of Old Bridge, formerly of Sayreville, died June 26, 2007, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was employed as a school bus monitor with Irvin Raphael Inc., East Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Blaszka Zezenski; two daughters, Bridget Kaiser, and her husband, Frederick, of Hopewell and Lori Benko, and her husband, Jim, of Sayreville; and eight grandchildren. A Mass was offered at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sayreville. Interment was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, also Sayreville.
Carmela Sangregorio Bartolino
Mrs. Bartolino, 72, of East Brunswick, died June 29, 2007, in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement in 1985, she was a registered nurse for six years with the East Brunswick public school system. Surviving are her mother, Angelina Sangregorio; her husband, John Bartolino; five children, Gerard Bartolino, and his wife, Nancy, of the Colonia section of Woodbridge, Linda Leonard, and her husband, Thomas, of Cary, N.C., Donna Reszko, and her husband, Stanley, of Clark, Edward Bartolino, and his wife, Julia, of Orange Park, Fla., and Peter Bartolino, and his wife, Debra, of New York City; and nine grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bartholomew’s Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Rose H. Swirski Bogota
Mrs. Bogota, 81, of Jamesburg, died June 26, 2007, in University Medical Center at Princeton. Prior to her retirement in 1983, she was employed for several years as a folder at Komar Dress Factory, Spotswood, and she later worked in the cafeteria at Kmart, East Brunswick. Her husband, Chester F. Sr., died in 1992, and a grandson, George Zelasko III, died in 2002. Surviving are a son, Chester F. Jr., of Jamesburg; a daughter, Deborah Zelasko, also of Jamesburg; and three grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. James Church, Jamesburg. Bernice D. Tamor Dickerman
Mrs. Dickerman, 85, of Monroe, formerly of East Brunswick, died July 1, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement in 1986, she was employed as a school librarian at Warnsdorfer Elementary School, East Brunswick, where she worked for 25 years. Surviving are her husband, William; two daughters, Patricia Loomis, and her husband, Larry, of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y., and Elizabeth Dickerman, and her husband, Richard Arons, of the Princeton Junction section of West Windsor; and three grandchildren. Services were held at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Interment was in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Judith Corbin Tenenbaum
Mrs. Tenenbaum, 67, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died May 20, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Irene Corbin. Surviving are a son, Christopher Poulos, and his wife, Jennifer; a sister, Patricia Meyer; two nephews, Richard Meyer and James Meyer, and their families; a cousin, Joreen Palughi, and her husband, Bob; and three granddaughters. Private arrangements were under the direction of Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin section of Sayreville.
Amanda Francisco
Amanda Francisco, 12, of Middletown, died June 26, 2007, following a lifelong battle with Cockayne syndrome. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. Burial was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John F.
