Richard M. Wall
EAST WINDSOR Richard M. Wall , 76, died Monday at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold Township.
Born in Susquehanna, Pa., he lived in the East Windsor area since 1958.
He retired from IBM in Dayton in 1988, after 32 years of service. He was a Naval veteran and served on the USS Picking.
Son of the late Howard and Viola Wall, he is survived by his wife, Mary J. Wall; daughter Mary Helen Wall; sons Richard M. Wall, Jr. and David H. Wall; two sisters and their spouses, Marjory and Raymond Brown and Katheryn and Bruce Mellering; grandchildren Heather, Brian, Thomas Jay, Tiffany, Kelly and William Wall, and Daniel and Cheryl Pullen; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter, 400 Morris Ave., suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365.
Arrangements are under the direction of Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown.
Albert R. Weisel
HIGHTSTOWN Albert R. Weisel, 88, died Saturday in Water’s Edge Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton.
Born in Plainsboro, he was a resident of Hightstown for many years.
Mr. Weisel served in the Navy during World War II. He was formerly employed by Hightstown borough and then worked for Operating Engineers Local #825 for many years. He was a life member of the Hightstown fire company and a former member of Hightstown First Aid Squad. He was an avid hunter.
Son of the late Charles and Beatrice Davison Weisel and father of the late Russell Weisel, he is survived by his wife, Mildred Holderman Weisel; daughter Susan Moss of St. Petersburg, Fla.; son Richard Weisel of Hightstown; sister Arlene Jennings of Trenton; brothers Calvin of Manchester Township, Harold of Pauling, N.Y. and Joseph Weisel of Port Charlotte, Fla; daughter-in-law Helen Weisel; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four stepchildren and their families, Britt Hughes, Cecil Douglas Hughes, Merritt Hughes and Benjamin Hughes; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 N. Main Street, Cranbury.
Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown.
Family and friends may call from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The Hightstown fire company will hold services at 7 p.m.

Susan Lyn Ashwood
WINDSOR Susan Lyn Ashwood , 49, died Monday at Rover Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Princeton, she was a resident of Windsor most of her life.
She graduated from Hightstown High School, Class of 1973, and received her bachelor’s degree from Rider University, where she was in the National Honor Society and was currently working on her master’s degree.
At the time of her death, Ms. Ashwood was employed by the West Windsor-Plainsboro school system, where she had been a science teacher. Earlier, she worked 20 years at L.B. Foster in Windsor as an office administrator.
She was an avid gardener who loved spending time at the Jersey shore and enjoyed doing crafts.
Predeceased by her father, Robert P. Ashwood, and her husband, William Campbell, she is survived by daughter Kristin Nicole Campbell of East Windsor; mother Phyllis C. Ashwood of East Windsor; two sisters, Paula J. Ashwood-Shinn and husband Robert of Hainesport, and Betty J. Ashwood of Princeton; brother-in-law Kenneth Campbell of Trenton; nephews William Scott Wiedemann of Apalachin, N.Y. and John A. Ashwood of Hopkins, Minn.; niece Jody L. Meeks and husband Dave of Vincentown; great nephew Davey Meeks; special friend Larry Zabelicky; and three young women she considered daughters, Meliss Simonelli of Bordentown, Susan Woznicki of Trenton and Anita Rios of Hamilton.
Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Monday at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown.
Burial will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Washington Township.
Relatives and friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Janet A. Hemler
CRANBURY Janet A. Hemler, 62, died Sunday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at New Brunswick.
Born in Hanover, Pa., she was a resident of Cranbury for many years. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Hightstown and had been active in the community.
She was a graduate of John Hopkins Hospital Radiological Technologist Program.
Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Kenneth Lapham of Hanover, she is survived by her husband of 40 years, Robert Hemler; daughter Jennifer and son-in-law Jeffrey Dowd of Somerset; sister Dawn Gass of Hanover; brother Keith Lapham of Hanover; and her extended Hemler and Lapham families.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Anthony’s. Interment will be held Saturday at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hanover.
