Rose H. (Swirski) Bogota, 81, died Tuesday, June 26, at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in the Menlo Park Section of Edison, she lived in Jamesburg for more than 50 years. She worked as a folder at Komar Dress Factory in Spotswood for several years, and later in the cafeteria of K-Mart in East Brunswick for four years, retiring in 1983. She was an avid bingo player at many local churches and enjoyed traveling with the Jamesburg and Monroe Township Senior Citizens Club, especially to Atlantic City. She was a long time member of St. James R.C. Church, Jamesburg.
Her husband, Chester F. Sr., died in 1992, and a grandson, George Zelasko III, died in 2002. She is survived by her son, Chester F. Jr., of Jamesburg; a daughter, Deborah Zelasko of Jamesburg; and three grandchildren, Lisa, Jamie, and Joseph Zelasko.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 30 from M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Township. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. James R.C. Church. Interment followed in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Organization of Rare Disorders, 55 Kenosia Ave., P.O.
