RETAIL
Verizon Wireless has named Scott North manager of its retail location in Mercer Mall, Lawrence. He will be responsible for customer service, retail sales, inventory, merchandising and employee training for the store.
Mr. North will also oversee the location’s HopeLine wireless phone collection program. Through HopeLine, Verizon Wireless collects no longer used wireless phones regardless of make, model or carrier to be refurbished or recycled in an environmentally friendly way. Proceeds are donated to domestic violence prevention advocacy groups or used to purchase wireless phones with free airtime for use by survivors.
LAW
Steven M. Richman, a partner in the Princeton office of the international law firm Duane Morris, has been elected secretary of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation.
Mr. Richman concentrates his practice in the areas of international law and commercial litigation. He served as a Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association and was a former chair of the NJSBA International Law and Organization Section. He is currently vice-president of the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey State Museum and a member of the executive committee of the New Jersey District Export Council.
Apart from law, he is also the author and photographer of "The Bridges of New Jersey" and "Mannequins." He resides in Plainsboro.
Law firm Parker McCay announced the promotion of Paul C. Kalac to counsel. A resident of Yardley, Pa., Mr. Kalac joined Parker McCay as an associate in 2002. He works in the firm’s Lawrence office.
Mr. Kalac represents public school boards of education in all areas affecting their operation. Mr. Kalac also serves as labor negotiator representing school districts in bargaining for collective negotiation agreements.
Stark & Stark has announced the addition of two new attorneys to the firm’s Lawrence office:
Eric S. Goldberg as a shareholder and member of the real estate, zoning and land use group where he concentrates his practice in land use and telecommunications; and Michael J. Brittan, associate, as a member of the employment litigation group.
Additionally, Martin P. Schrama is now a shareholder in Stark & Stark’s litigation group. Mr. Schrama focuses his practice on large-scale complex litigation, with a concentration in construction, intellectual property, insurance coverage, securities and class action litigation.

Wilmington Trust announced that it has hired Brian J. Clancy as a senior private client advisor in its Plainsboro office.

He has more than 23 years of experience advising high-net-worth clients. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, he was a vice president with U.S. Trust in Princeton.
Robert J. Tartaglia, vice president and director of government relations of NJBankers, the South Brunswick-based trade association for the New Jersey banking industry, has been promoted to executive vice president. With NJBankers for four years, he served as acting president for seven months during a transition in the administration of the association.
David W. Harkness has joined NJBankers as vice president and director of education and events. He comes to New Jersey Bankers after 12 years at the New Jersey State League of Municipalities, where he was manager of the league’s seminar programs and helped manage its annual conference.
MARKETING
Plainsboro-based Patient Marketing Group, which specializes in patient relationship marketing for the pharmaceutical industry, has recently hired Neelofur Wasti in the role of senior account manager.

Carl Andrews of Doylestown, Pa., was recently appointed director of human resources and administrative services for Enable Inc. Dr. Rajendra Prasad Gupta, a specialist in internal medicine and gastroenterology, has been elected president elect of the Medical Society of NJ, Lawrence. Dr. Prasad is in private practice of gastroenterology and internal medicine at 1871 Pennington Road and affiliated with Capital Health Systems at Mercer in Trenton.
ENGINEERING
West Windsor-based MISTRAS Group Inc. has announced that Dr. Valery Godinez has been promoted to manager of research contracts and applications. This organization is part of the research & inspection engineering services group, a recently restructured division within the MISTRAS Group. His team will focus on large research and development contracts helping to develop new technologies for the non-destructive testing industry. Dr. Godinez has been a contributing MISTRAS Group scientist since 1998.
Two senior associates at Hopewell Valley Engineering, Pennington, have become partners in the firm. Dennis W. O’Neal and Russell M. Smith, both with the company for over 15 years, have been named partners and join president Joseph M. Mahan Jr. in company ownership.
Mr. O’Neal has over 25 years of experience working with consulting firms that specialize in civil engineering for the construction industry as well as local, county, state and federal governments. He is the municipal engineer for Hopewell Borough and East Amwell Township.
Mr. Smith has worked on all phases of private and public engineering projects for over 20 years, including residential and commercial site plans and subdivisions; sewerage collection and water distribution systems; septic system designs; dam studies and inspections; and roadway rehabilitation and reconstruction.
Steve Tredinnick has been named vice president and chief engineer in the energy services division of Syska Hennessy Group, a consulting, engineering, technology and construction firm headquartered in West Windsor. Mr. Tredinnick brings over 24 years of experience as a project and technical engineering manager with him, the last 14 years focusing on large campus utility systems and master planning.
