Some progress
comes slowly
To the editor:

I have serious concerns as to whether the timeline will allow my 2-year-old grandson to attend a new high school in Monroe.
Currently, it’s taking more than eight months to put up a traffic light at the corner of School House and Perrineville roads.
Additionally, it’s taken over eight years to acquire a piece of land amid 42 square miles.
Some progress, I guess, comes slow here in Monroe, unless of course you’re building a new mega-housing development. These things seemingly go up over night without a hitch.
But it is a true comfort to know that we’ve had the same leadership up and down the line all these years.
Bravo Guys! Way to go! Good job! Got a shovel?
