Salvatore Scavo
   EAST WINDSOR — Salvatore Scavo, 65, died Sunday in Italy.
   Born in Carini, Sicily, he was a resident of East Windsor for many years.
   He was the owner of Sal’s Pizzeria the past 37 years. He supported local organizations, including the East Windsor Rescue Squad, District 1 and East Windsor Fire Company No. 1.
   He is survived by his wife, Theresa Scavo; three sons and their wives, Dominic, Thomas and wife Vivian, and Alexander and wife Lisa; daughter Marianna Scavo and her partner, Lori Shupel; brothers Vito and Dominic Scavo; grandchildren Salvatore, Antonio, Zachary, Gabriel; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
   A funeral Mass was held in Carini for his family members in Italy.
   A gathering will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, with a graveside service to follow at 11 a.m. at Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.
   Relatives and friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Saul Colonial Home.
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East Windsor Rescue Squad, District 1, P.O. Box 30, East Windsor, NJ 08520 or the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691-4183.

Barbara Gwendolyn Kennedy Hill
   PRINCETON — Barbara Gwendolyn Hill, 81, died Sunday at home.
   Born in Princeton, she was a lifelong resident, educated in the Princeton school system. In 1943, she married Willie Joseph Hill.
   She was predeceased by her parents, Walter Lee and Wilma Rhoden Kennedy, brothers Johnnie Lewis and Wilton Kennedy, and sister Patsy Kennedy. She is survived by son Willie Hill (Grace) of East Windsor; four daughters, April Hill McElroy of Princeton, twins Johnnie Hill-Hudgins (John) of Trenton and Michael Marie Hill of Princeton, and Denise Hill Wooten (Paul) of Trenton; sister-in-law Dannie F. Kennedy of Princeton; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two goddaughters; and a host of nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and friends.
   A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church on Paul Robeson Place, Princeton. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home, Trenton.

Mary Elodee Dohrmann
   HOWELL — Mary Elodee McGovern Dohrmann, 85, died June 30.
   Ms. Dohrmann was born in Newburgh, N.Y. and was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. She lived in Cranbury for more than 30 years before moving to Whiting and recently moving with her daughter and family to Howell.
   She was a past member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Hightstown, a member of the American Legion Post #148 in Hightstown and a past member of the Jamesburg Elks #2180 Ladies Auxiliary.
   She worked as a controller at Stewart Air Force Base in New York and was a columnist for the Newburgh Star. After moving to New Jersey, she worked at and retired from McGraw Hill.
   Predeceased by her son, William F. Dohrmann Jr. and her husband, William F. Dohrmann Sr., she is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Robert Wilmer of Hightstown and Elodee and Edward Hughes of Howell; four grandsons and their wives, Bernie and Lisa Wilmer of Macungie, Pa., Bill and Debbie Wilmer of East Windsor, Ben and Sandi Wilmer of Westfield, Ind. and Edward Hughes Jr. of Howell; granddaughters Jessica and Jennifer Hughes of Howell; honorary granddaughter Danielle Ross of Manalapan; six great-grandchildren, Blake, Bryan, Nicholas, Jake, Alexandra and Andrew; and two nieces and their spouses, Gina and Dave Giordano of Turnersville and Lauren and Kenneth Serzan of Old Bridge.
   Funeral services were held at Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown, and interment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown.
Jeanne Gaillard Cleeland
   HATBORO, Pa. — Jeanne Gaillard Cleeland, 81, died Sunday in Luther Woods Convalescent Center, where she lived since 1999.
   Born in Irvington, Essex County, she was a previous resident of East Windsor and Toms River. She graduated from West Orange High School in 1944 and continued her education for two years in secretarial school.
   She had been secretary to the East Windsor Regional school board from 1965 until retiring in 1986.
   She was a member of the Hugenot Society, Charleston, S.C.
   Daughter of the late Theodore F. and Florence M. (Elwood) Gaillard, wife of the late Robert J. Cleeland, she is survived by four children, Carol A. Cleeland-Ford and her husband, Russell N. Ford, of Ocean, William J. Cleeland of San Rafael, Calif., Elizabeth D. Cleeland of Warren, Mich. and Cynthia E. Walker of Seattle, Wash.; grandson Alexander Walker; two sisters, Florence Thompson of Jensen Beach, Fla. and Carol G. Cameron and her husband, Jack Cameron, of Chalfont, Pa.; two brothers, Theodore F. Gaillard Jr. and his wife, Jean, of Jensen Beach, Fla. and William W. Gaillard and his wife, Valerie, of North Wales, Pa..
   A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Immanuel Church of the Nazarene, Lansdale, Pa. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 3:30 p.m.
   Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown, will be at the convenience of the family.
   Funeral arrangements are by Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.

Virginia LoBianco
   MILLSTONE — Virginia LoBianco, 79, died June 29 at home.
   Born in Ithaca, N.Y., she was formerly a resident of Hightstown for many years before moving to Perrineville.
   She was co-owner of Shady Rest and had studied nursing at Cornell University. She was an avid Yankees fan, serious Bingo player and a gourmet cook.
   She is survived by her husband, Phillip LoBianco; her children and their spouses, Phillip, Jr. and Norma LoBianco, Anthony (Rusty) and Gwenn LoBianco, Judy and Keith Bishop and Linda Shoemaker; sisters Fannie Fox and Hilda Kerfoot; brother Clyde Burnett; grandchildren Tara, Anthony, Chris, Mark, Krystal, Kyle, Richard, James and Cathleen; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Hightstown. Entombment followed in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.
   Arrangements were by Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown.
