Eugene J. Gallo, 86, died July 12 in the St. Francis Medical Center.
Born in Manhattan, N.Y., Mr. Gallo lived in Penning-ton for over 50 years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and had retired as an electrician from Good All Rubber.
Mr. Gallo also was the past president of the UAW Union at Good All Rubber and a member of the local Electricians Union.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Bishop Griffin 4th Degree Assembly #0655 and also the Knights of Columbus Ewing Council #3756.
Son of the late Joseph and Rose Mastromarino Gallo, brother to the late Gennaro, Nicholas, John and Anthony Gallo, and father of the late Joseph Michael Gallo, he is survived by his wife of 59 years, Julia Capria Gallo; a son and daughter-in-law, Eugene J. Jr. and Denise Gallo of Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Mafalda Grasston of Pahrump, Nev., Nicolina Garozza of Pennsylvania and Madeline Restuccia of Hamilton Township; four grandchildren, Anna-Marie, Tricia, Nicole and Joseph; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Incarnation Church.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton Township.
Calling hours will be 6-8 p.m. today (Monday) and 8:15-9:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Hartmann Memorial Home, 2830 Nottingham Way, Mercerville.
