Albert Hancock Jr.
   Albert L. Hancock Jr., of Lawrence Township, died Sunday at Capital Health System’s Fuld Campus, in Trenton. He was 78.
   Born in Trenton, Mr. Hancock was a lifelong resident of Trenton and Lawrence.
   A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he served during the post-World War II era and the Korean War.
   Mr. Hancock retired in 1985 after 30 years with the A.A.A. Trucking Co., of Hamilton Township. He also was employed by the New Jersey State Police at the logistics center at the West Trenton headquarters.
   He was a member and past president of Lawrence Athletic Association and a member of Teamsters Local 701.
   He was an avid hunter and a salt-water and fresh-water fisherman, known for his hunting and fishing adventures throughout the U.S. and Canada. He was a former member of the Top Road Quoits League.
   Son of the late Albert L. Sr. and Cecilia Woodhead Hancock, husband of the late Florence M. Zacharewicz Hancock, father of the late Donna Marie Hancock, and brother of the late George P. Hancock, his identical twin. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Albert L. III and Cecilia L. Hancock, of Ewing; three grandchildren, Marlynn Marie and her husband, Rafael Cabal, and Myra Lynn Hancock, all of Jacksonville, N.C.; and JohnJames Hancock, of Ewing; his sister and brother-in-law, Lee and Kenneth Taft of, Virginia Beach, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
   Memorial services will be held at 8 p.m. tonight at Winowicz Funeral Chapel, 865 Brunswick Ave., Trenton. Calling hours will precede from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment will be private for the family at St. Hedwig’s Cemetery, in Ewing Township.

John and Hilda Hill
   John J. Hill, 81, died July 11 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Langhorne, Pa. His wife, Hilda A. Hill, 85, died July 12 at Capital Health System’s Fuld Campus.
   Mr. Hill, formerly of Morrisville, Pa., and Mrs. Hill, formerly of Trenton, had been residents of Lawrence for 42 years.
   Mr. Hill was a self-employed custom homebuilder and later was a construction foreman with Marshall Maintenance.
   He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific Theatre of Operations and was a member of the Hopewell American Legion Post No. 339.
   Mrs. Hill was a former employee of Atlantic Products and later worked for the State of New Jersey Division of Taxation.
   Both were active members of St. James Roman Catholic Church in Trenton where Mrs. Hill also was a member of the Rosary Altar Society.
   The couple was married for over 50 years.
   Mr. Hill was son of the late Paul and Elizabeth James Hill. Mrs. Hill was daughter of the late Pasquale and Angelina DiSabatino DiStefano. They are survived by a son and daughter-in-law, J. Kenneth and Judy Hill, and three grandchildren, Alicia, David and Megan Hill, all of Pennington. Mr. Hill also is survived by a sister, Ida Hill. Mrs. Hill also is survived by three sisters and one brother-in-law, Viola Chiarello, Lillian Bernabei and Phyllis and Frank Nerwinski, all of Lawrence; and several nieces and nephews.
   A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at St. James R.C. Church in Trenton. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton.

Florence Wisniewski
   Florence Kolpack Wisniewski, of Lawrence, died at home Sunday after a long illness. She was 78.
   Born in Newark, she was a lifelong area resident.
   Mrs. Wisniewski retired from Heinemann Electric after 32 years as an electrical testing technician.
   She was member of the Church of Saint Ann.
   Daughter of the late Carl and Veronica Pieslack Kolpack and sister of the late Jean Kolpack Miller and Ann Kolpack Penkola, she is survived by her husband, Bernard R. Wisniewski; her three brothers, Edward Kolpack and his wife Gloria, Carl Kolpack and his wife Sandra and Albert Kolpack and his wife Judy; a brother-in-law, Raymond Penkola; six nephews, Michael, William and James Kolpack, Charles Penkola, Marty and David Miller; and two nieces, Barbara Kolpack Hoffer and Linda Kolpack; and dearest friends Mary Zeiner and Eleanor Pitonyak.
   A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday at the Church of Saint Ann, 1253 Lawrence Rd. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Robert Salter
   Robert Salter, of Lawrence, died July 4 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton. He was 82.
   Born in Burnt Corn, Ala., he resided in Cleveland, Ohio, Linden and Rahway, before moving to Lawrence two years ago.
   He retired in 2004 after 50 years as a truck driver with various companies, the most recent being the Vaccaro Motor Messenging Service in Jersey City. He was a member of International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 560.
   Son of the late Clinton and Lucresia Lee Salter, husband of the late Amy Henderson Salter and stepson of the late Bob McCaskill, he is survived by his son, Robert E. Salter and his partner, Rowyn Capers, of Lawrence; a sister, Mary L. Perry, of Maywood, Ill.; two brothers, Bob McCaskill Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, of Evergreen, Ala.; and Charles McCaskill, of Orlando, Fla.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Aurelius Salter and Willy Sam McCaskill and his sister, Bernice McCaskill.
   Memorial services were held July 14 at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road.

George LemMon
   HOPEWELL — George John LemMon died July 10 at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton. He was 62.
   Born in Somerville and raised in Hopewell, he was a graduate of Princeton High School.
   Mr. LemMon was a retired self-employed house painter.
   He was a member of Knights of Columbus affiliated with St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Hightstown.
   Son of the late Alice and George LemMon, father of the late George S. LemMon, he is survived by his wife, Grace LemMon; son and daughter-in-law Erik and Kimberlee LemMon, of East Windsor; sisters and brothers-in-law Pat and Tony Schannel, of Lawrence, and Jeanne and Don Smith, of Princeton; brother and sister-in-law John and Kathleen LemMon, of Lawrence; and many nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held Friday.
