Grace G. Dahlquist, 91, of Monroe Township, died Saturday, June 30, at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Staten Island, N.Y., she lived there before moving to Monroe Township in 1980. She was an active member and usher of the Congregation of Monroe Village.
She had been a Registered Nurse who worked at Public Health Service Hospital in Staten Island, but spent most of her life raising a family.
She nursed many family members through her years and enjoyed traveling, opera and volunteering.
Her husband, John Martin Dahlquist, died in 1979; her siblings, Henry, Lilian and Victor Fogelquist, also are deceased. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Lynne Dahlquist of Manalapan, and Roy and Peggy Dahlquist of Manasquan; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service was held Thursday, July 26, at Monroe Village.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the University Medical Center at Princeton.
