Jeanette Hildebrand Ertel

   Jeanette Hildebrand Ertel, 83, of Washington Crossing, Pa., formerly of Titusville, died July 18 at home.
   Born in Titusville, she was a graduate of the Hopewell Valley High School in Pennington.
   She was employed as a cafeteria baker and helper for the Hopewell Valley Regional School District for 21 years, as a crossing guard in Titusville, and as a home health aid. She also was a former employee of The Public Meat Market in Trenton and an active member of the Titusville Presbyterian Church.
   Daughter of the late Grover C. and Laura Most Hildebrand, wife of the late Robert H. Ertel, and sister of the late Wilfred and Stanley Hildebrand, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dean and Janice Ertel of Springfield, Mo., and Donald and Kathleen Ertel of Ewing; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Joseph Wattai of Jackson, and Deanna and John Fletcher of Washington Crossing, Pa.; a stepson and his wife, Robert and Debbie Ertel of Philadelphia, Pa.; a sister, Arleen Pitts of Onaway, Mich.; a brother and sister-in-law, Grover and Joyce Hildebrand of Titusville; grandchildren, Benjamin Ertel of Joplin, Mo., Jennifer Ertel of Springfield, Mo., Kimberly Glynn and husband John of Peoria, Ariz., Joseph C. Wattai of Jackson, Todd Ertel and wife Amy of Howell, Steven Ertel and wife Marieke of Reston, Va., Shannon, Shelby and John Fletcher of Washington Crossing, Pa., Cory Ertel of Philadelphia, Pa., and Nathan Merrill and wife Connie Jo of Columbia, S.C.; seven great grandchildren; and a special friend of 60 years, Madelyn Smith of Titusville.
   Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Titusville Presbyterian Church, River Drive, Titusville, with the Rev. R. William Shaub, pastor emeritus, officiating.
   Burial will be in the Titusville United Methodist Cemetery.
