Roseann Barb, 46, of North Ninth Avenue, was charged with being a disorderly person at 8:44 p.m. July 6 at the corner of South Main Street and West Camplain Road after police received reports of her walking in the road and yelling obscenities at cars and pedestrians.
She was turned over to Somerset County Jail, with bail set at $2,000.

The driver of a car that was rear-ended while waiting to make a left turn from Kennedy Boulevard and Whalen Road at 3:42 p.m. July 7 and her passenger were taken to Somerset Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
Police reported that the car driven by Natalie Troisi, 21, was rear-ended by another car and then hit another car in the intersection.
Ms. Troisi and her passenger have been released from the hospital.

A 2005 Audi at the Adesa Auto Auctions lot caught fire at 4:22 p.m. July 9.
Adesa technicians reported that a recalled part caused the fire, but did not offer a damage estimate.

Manisha Shah, 36, of Basking Ridge, was charged with shoplifting after a manager at the A&P grocery store on North Main Street Supermarket charged her with scanning coupons for food that she did not purchase.
Ms. Shah was detained in the store before being transported to police headquarters and released on $250 bail.

A caller reported finding a silver and purple bike on the corner of View Street and Huff Ave at 5:22 p.m. July 10. Police stored the Malibu Topaz bike in the police property trailer.

Antonio Rodriguez, 40, of Flemington, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after being stopped at the corner of North Sixth Avenue and Dukes Parkway at 7:21 p.m. July 10 for failing to wear his seat belt.
Police reported seeing Mr. Rodriguez push something between the seats when they asked him to step out of the car. Police found a plastic bag with drug paraphernalia when they searched the vehicle.
Police also took Mr. Rodriguez’s passenger, Jessica Trumbo, into custody for active municipal court warrants from Raritan.
Mr. Rodriguez was released after the charges were filed; Ms. Trumbo was released after posting $600 cash bail.
The vehicle was towed for being uninsured.

Peter Abrams, 45, of Princeton, and Dale Artifitch, 18, of Bridgewater, were charged with trespassing and reckless driving after their vehicles got stuck in a field near Huff Avenue at 9:03 p.m. July 10.

Justine Kassick, of Boesel Avenue, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving an unsafe vehicle, and obstructed view after police noticed smoke pouring out of her vehicle’s hood on North Main Street at 1:22 a.m. July 11.
Ms. Kassick was transported to headquarters and released to a family member.

A 15-month-old girl got an animal cage hook stuck in her mouth at South Tenth Avenue at 3:17 p.m. on July 11. Patrols were able to dislodge the hook, and the rescue squad transported the girl and her mother to Somerset Medical Center.

Police and animal control officers were dispatched to Evans Drive after a pit bull killed a Lhasa Apso at 4:38 p.m. July 11.
Police reported a fatal neck wound on the Lhasa apso.
Animal control took both dogs.
Manville rescue squad treated a laceration on the Lhasa apso’s owner’s leg.
The pit bull’s owner was contacted, and reported observing no violence prior to the incident. The pit bull is set to be euthanized.

Leeandrew Ashe, no address given, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct following a fight at Wyoming Place at 8:10 p.m. July 12.
Mr. Ashe was taken to Somerset County Jail in default of the $2,000 cash-only bail.

A South Main Street caller reported a vehicle leaking gas in the Krauszer’s parking lot at 5:58 p.m. July 13. Police confirmed a minor fuel leak on a 1987 GMC pickup truck, and the vehicle was towed at the property owner’s request.

Kendall Rojas, 22, of South Main Street, was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, failure to submit to a breath test, and driving without a license after being pulled over for failing to stop at a traffic light on the corner of South Main Street and Haran Avenue at 2:45 a.m. July 14.
Mr. Rojas was processed and released to a family member.

Justin Levine, 19, of South 21st Avenue, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, driving an uninsured vehicle, failure to submit to a breath test, failure to report an accident, and leaving the scene of an accident after a caller reported seeing him strike three cars parked on South 20th Avenue and leave the scene at 4:04 p.m. July 14.
Police reported apprehending him near the scene. He was released after the charges were filed.

Anthony Damore III, 29, of West Camplain Road, was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief at 2:03 a.m. July 15 following a fight at a South Main Street diner.
A neon sign with an estimated value of $600 was broken during the fight.
Mr. Damore was transported to Somerset County Jail in default of $1,000 bail.

At 11:16 a.m. July 15, a Grub Hut employee reported computer equipment valued at $16,700 stolen from the North Main Street restaurant.
Police reported that the thief gained access to the building by forcibly opening a side window. Items stolen include computers, laptops, and computerized items. An investigation is ongoing.

A South Reading Street caller reported finding damaged to his front door at 9:21 p.m. July 15.
Police confirmed damage to the door jam. The estimated value of the damage is $300.

A Lincoln Avenue caller reported hearing the upstairs window at his residence break at 10:53 p.m. July 15. Police reported finding no one around the area. The estimated damage is $300.
