Freehold Township will host its first National Night Out, a crime prevention and drug prevention event sponsored by Freehold Raceway Mall, on Aug. 7 from 6-9 p.m. at the municipal plaza parking lot at the corner of Schanck and Stillwells Corner Road.
There will be music provided by 101.5 FM, free giveaways, food, ice cream, McGruff, free rides for children, a balloon artist, face painting, fire department safety demonstrations, a police certified child safety seat check, the CentraState Medical Center Wellness Van for wellness screening, Monmouth County Blood Bank, the Alliance to Prevent Alcohol and Drug Abuse, and more.
A blood drive sponsored by the Freehold Township Police Department will be held from 5-9 p.m. Aug. 7 in the municipal parking lot next to the firehouse.
