Upset over Legion’s disregard for neighbors

Recently I was informed that Sprint was given permission to build a cellular tower in my neighborhood. The plot of land the tower is planned to be erected on is at my local American Legion on South Middlesex Avenue in Colonia.

Previously our neighborhood has fought against the construction of this tower with success, but this time Sprint was given permission to go ahead with its project by the court. The American Legion wants to lease part of its land to Sprint and their 120-plus-foot tower. I, along with many of my neighbors, am upset that this is happening. This kind of tower is very unsightly, and many of us do not wish for it to be built so close to our homes.

I find it upsetting that the American Legion, which is supposed to be a benefit to the community, chooses to ignore the voices of our community and instead go ahead and do as they please without any consideration to the local residents.
