   Duke Farms of Hillsborough will offer guided scenic bike tours for the whole family from 8-10 a.m. every Saturday morning through October. Fees are $10 for adults (12 and older); children — $5 (up to age 12), children riding in bike seats or trailers are free. All riders required to ride for two hours, unassisted. Participants are required to bring their own mountain bikes and protective headgear for the bike tours. In the event of inclement weather, rides will be rescheduled for the following day at the same time. For information or to register for the scenic bike tours, call 722-3700.
   Duke Farms also now offers a "Walk on the Wild Side" open for daytime self-guided walks from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. The 1.25 -mile trail is level and suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. For more information on Duke Farm tours, classes or programs, call 722-3700.

   Hillsborough Township Planning Board business meeting has been cancelled. No meetings will be held in August.
Friday, July 27
   Somerset Valley Players, located on Amwell Road in Hillsborough, presents a comedy "Sylvia" 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sunday matinees through August 5. Tickets are $14; Friday and Sunday only, tickets for senior citizens and students are $12. For reservations, call 369-7469. Group sales are available. The theatre is air-conditioned and handicap accessible.

   Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1 Ladies Auxiliary will hold an indoor flea market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the air conditioned municipal complex on South Branch Road. For details, call 369-4811.
   Duke Farms in Hillsborough offers a Moonlight Walk from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. The cost per person is $5 and no advance registration is required. Walkers should bring their own flashlights and wear appropriate footwear. For more details, call 722-3700. Future walks are scheduled for Aug. 25, Sept. 26 and Oct. 27.

   Sacred Heart Parish Festival, will be held daily from 6 to 10 p.m. through Aug. 4 at Sacred Heart Grounds on South Second Avenue in Manville. The festival includes fun, games and great food for the entire family. For additional information and directions, call 725-0072.

Looking ahead
   Manville Car Show and Flea Market, sponsored by Street Dreams Car Club and Manville High School Marching Band, will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 5 at the Manville High School playing field.    Jazzercise, located at Kingsbridge Center on the corner of Amwell and Beekman Lane, will hold an open house week from Aug. 5 through Aug. 11.    Hillsborough Seniors Chapter "A" will hold its Fall Luncheon Committee meeting at noon Aug. 6, followed by the executive board meeting at 1 p.m.
   11th Annual Anderson House Seafood Festival will be from noon to 7 p.m. Aug. 11 at Deer Path Park in Readington Township-Flemington. Rain or shine. Donation $5; children under 12 free. The event features an elaborate array of seafood as well as desserts and specialty foods plus a variety of foods for landlubbers, live entertainment, inflatable rides, pony rides and many other children’s activities. All proceeds benefit Anderson House, a residential treatment program for women recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.
