The Silver Fox Club Inc., Manasquan, will host its third annual “Day at the Races to OutFox Sarcoma” Aug. 10 from noon to 5 p.m. at Monmouth Park Racetrack, Oceanport.
The event will be held in memory of Pat Corliss, Manasquan. She lost her two-and-a-half-year battle to sarcoma in March. It will feature horse racing, a buffet with entrees such as filet mignon and crab cakes, open bar, and a gift bag. A mystery celebrity guest will also be in attendance. Tickets are $150. Jackets are required for men, and jeans and shorts are not permitted. Net proceeds will be donated to the nonprofit Sarcoma Alliance Research through Collaboration.
