Muriel A. Cottrell Frank
Muriel A. Cottrell Frank, 80, of Bayville died Friday at Tall Woods Care Center in Bayville.
Born in Holyoke, Mass., she lived in Hopewell and the Village Six section of Whiting before moving to Bayville in 2004.
She was a homemaker, member of the Village Six Residents Club and Ceramics Club of Whiting.
Predeceased by her husband James Cottrell and husband Gilbert M. Frank Sr., she is survived by two sons James Cottrell of Howell and Allan Cottrell of Ewing; two daughters, Bonnie Bray of Hopewell and Deborah Schmitt of Tinton Falls; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m.-noon with a service at noon at Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 66 Lacey Road, Whiting.
Hilda Elizabeth Moran Ongrady
Hilda Elizabeth Moran Ongrady, 86, of Hopewell, died July 28.
Mrs. Ongrady was a published poet, Miss Trenton 1946, a postal employee, a singer and a gifted pianist.
Daughter of the late John and Matilda Schuler Moran and wife of the late John A. Ongrady, she is survived by her children, John A. Ongrady II and his wife Sheila of Toms River, Diane Cuccagna and her ex-husband Joseph Cuccagna of Hamilton and Doris and Bryon Wood of Hopewell; grandchildren, Robert Ongrady, John A. Ongrady III and wife Marisol, Tara Cuccagna, Jennifer Wood and her husband Michael Burkholtz, Ariane Wood and Heather Wood; great-grandchildren, Vanessa and Zachary Ongrady; a sister Rita Chiacchio; a brother Joseph Moran; a nephew John Ryel; "adopted daughters" Nancy Lorentz and Wilma Woodward; and a friend Leone Pamphile.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Buklad Memorial Home, 2141 S. Broad St.. Hamilton, with cremation immediately following.
