Robert "Buzz" Wilbur, 76, of Titusville died Monday.
Born and raised in Glendale, Calif., he received his undergraduate degree from California State Polytechnic and two doctorate degrees from Iowa State University.
He and his wife then settled in Titusville, where they have been active members of the community for 45 years.
After leaving Iowa, he went to work for American Cyanamid, where he rose to the position of director. He retired in 1995.
He enjoyed woodworking and restoring antique MGs.
Dr. Wilbur is survived by his wife, Carol Ann (Dumont) Wilbur; daughters Wendy, Diana and Patty; sons-in-law, Tom, Chris and Joe; and grandchildren, Nate, Justin, Kait, Matt, Chelsea, Kelly, Megan and Sarah.
A memorial celebration is being planned for a later date.
