James R. Forster

   MANVILLE — James R. Forster died July 27 at home. He was 75.
   Born in Mahanoy City, Pa., he had been a resident of Manville for the past 50 years.
   Mr. Forster had been employed with Johns-Manville Corp. of Manville for 25 years and was a member of the J-M Quarter Century Club. Later, he worked for the Somerset County Roads Department from 1988 until his retirement in 1994.
   He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
   He was a member of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
   He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Forster; two sons, James Jr. of Whitehouse Station and Ronald of Branchburg; a daughter, Cindy Hart of Branchburg; a brother, William of Beaufort, S.C.; two sisters, Mildred Henninger and Catherine Karvois, of Chambersburg, Pa.; and six grandchildren,
   A funeral was held Tuesday from the Ketusky Funeral Home in Manville, followed by a Mass at Christ the King Church. Burial followed in St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater.
