Frank Masterson

   HAMILTON — Frank B. Masterson, 83, died Friday in the Capital Health System at Fuld.
   Born in Trenton, Mr. Masterson was a lifelong area resident. He was a retired block operator from the Pennsylvania Railroad and was a U.S. Army staff sergeant veteran of World War II. He was also very active in St. Anthony’s Church.
   Husband of the late Ellen Moore Masterson, he is survived by three sons, Frank and wife Theresa Masterson of Las Vegas, Nev., Robert Masterson and Evelyn Perez and James and wife Mary Masterson, all of Trenton; his daughter Mary Ellen Masterson of Robbinsville; three brothers all of Yardley, Pa., Jack, Paul and Richard Masterson; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Anthony’s Church and burial was in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
   Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Hartmann Memorial Home, Hamilton.
Anthony Morino

   WHITING — Anthony S. Morino, 87, died July 26 at Twin Bridges at Whiting Health Care Center in Manchester.
   Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived in Cranbury before moving to Whiting in 1990. Mr. Morino was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a machinist with Cameron Machine Company in Dover for 42 years, retiring in 1982. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Cranbury and Whiting. He was also a member of the Lakeland Pigeon Flyers of Parsippany.
   He is survived by his wife Rose; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Mary and Frank and Mary Lynn, all of Robbinsville; two brothers, Guy of Mine Hill and Robert of Leesburg, Fla.; two sisters, Theresa Vitolo of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Virginia Carabone of Staten Island, N.Y.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
   A funeral mass was held in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
   Arrangements were under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.

Archie Rue Jr.

   HAMILTON — Archie Rue Jr., 83, died July 26 in the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
   Born in Allentown, Mr. Rue was a lifelong area resident. He was a retired bus driver employed by the former Mercer Metro, now N.J. Transit.
   Son of the late Archie Sr. and Myrtle Rue, he is survived by his wife of 41 years, Gloria Pez Rue; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Archie Rue III of Washington Township and David and Barbara Rue of Browns Mills; three grandchildren, David, Matt and Lisa; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held at the Hartmann Memorial Home, Hamilton. Entombment was in the Mausoleum in Greenwood Cemetery.

David Holt

   CREAM RIDGE — David I. Holt, 80, died July 25 at home.
   Born in Trenton, Mr. Holt lived in Hamilton Township for 15 years before moving to Cream Ridge 40 years ago. He was employed by ACME for 33 years and later by the Monmouth County Highway Department for 17 years. Mr. Holt was also a World War II Army veteran.
   Son of the late David Holt and Ethel Baum Holt Doran, he is survived by his wife of 54 years, Florence Holt; his son David B. Holt; and several cousins.
   A service was held at the Peppler Funeral Home in Allentown. Interment was in St. Mary’s Byzantine Cemetery, Hamilton Township.
Fred O’Brien

   SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Fred O’Brien, 60, died July 23 at the Hospice of the Valley in Scottsdale after succumbing to injuries from an accident.
   Mr. O’Brien resided on a farm in Cream Ridge for most of his life before moving to the New Egypt area in 1989 where he served as deacon at the Church of the Assumption. He moved to Scottsdale four years ago.
   He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Shaunna O’Brien of Wrightstown; his daughter, Christine Klein of New Egypt; his son, Tom O’Brien of Brooklyn, N.Y.; his grandparents, Bridget and Abby Klein of New Egypt; and his brother, Dan O’Brien of Maui, Hawaii.
   Calling hours will be on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. and a funeral mass will be held Saturday at noon, both at the Church of the Assumption in New Egypt.

Charles DiFranco

   HAMILTON — Charles S. DiFranco, 88, died July 23 in Care One at Hamilton.
   Born in Trenton, he was a Hamilton resident for 57 years. Mr. DiFranco was the owner and operator of C. DiFranco Pipe and Tobacco Shop in Hamilton for 46 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows- St. Anthony Parish.
   He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas DiFranco and Frances Acquisto DiFranco; his beloved wife, Leda A. Micheli DiFranco; and brothers and sisters, Samuel DiFranco, Mary DiFranco, Jennie Pinto, Josephine Salamandra and Joseph DiFranco. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Frances M. and Donald J. Klimaszewski of Neptune; son, Thomas A. DiFranco of Robbinsville; brother and sister-in-law, Pasquale and Theresa DiFranco of Hamilton; grandchildren and spouses, Joseph and Karen Klimaszewski of Hamilton and Donna and Roger Glendenning of Boyds, Maryland; and several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held from the Gruerio Funeral Home, Trenton. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Hamilton. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.
