Frank Yates
SEMINOLE, Fla. — Frank V. C. Yates, of Seminole, Fla., died July 25 at the Wrights Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, in Seminole. He was 85.
   Born in Trenton, he was a resident of Lawrence for many years before moving to Florida in 1995.
   Mr. Yates retired in 1986 after 25 years as a contract administrator with RCA in East Windsor. He then began working for Griffith Electric in Trenton until his retirement in 1991.
   Mr. Yates was a member of the Monday Night Blues Swing Band, the Quarter Century Wireless Association and the Metro Radio Club.
   Son of the late Francis and Violet Van Cleef Yates and husband of the late Joan Murphy Yates, he is survived by his current wife, Claire Carter Yates; sons James V. C. Yates and wife Ann, of Yardley, Pa.; Thomas F. Yates and wife Kathie, of Trenton; daughters Mary Beth Chase and husband Mark Chase, of Montclair, Pixie Carbone and husband James, of New York, N.Y., and Sally Blair and husband Joseph, of Lincoln, Mass.; 10 grandchildren, Melissa and Jamie Yates, Jessie Joan Chase, Matthew and Tommy Blair, Carter Chase, Andrew, Joanie and Emma Blair and Georgia Carbone.
   Funeral was held Monday at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road. Burial was in the Lawrenceville Cemetery.
