Dr. Patricia Jo Carver of Princeton died Friday at University Medical Center at Princeton. She was 74.
   Born in New Britain, Conn., she was a former resident of Toronto. In Princeton, Dr. Clark was a psychologist in private practice before retiring.
   She served as a volunteer with the American Red Cross, counseling relief workers worldwide.
   Dr. Carver received her bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College, master’s from Clark University and doctorate from the University of Geneva.
   Mother of the late Rebecca Carver, she is survived by her husband, Dr. David H. Carver; son Randy N. Carver of Kirtland Hills, Ohio; daughter Lesley Brovner of Brooklyn, N.Y.; brother Richard Nair; three grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Mindy Carver of Kirtland, Ohio.
   Funeral and burial are private at Raleigh Hebrew Cemetery, Raleigh, N.C. A memorial service in Princeton will be announced at a later date.
