Helen Bohonowsky

   MANVILLE — Helen (Sobey) Bohonowsky Day died July 28 at home. She was 87.
   Born in Vandergrift, Pa., she lived in Scarsdale, N.Y., and Newark, prior to making her home in Manville.
   Mrs. Bohonowsky was a communicant of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
   She was a member of the Union of Polish Women and Manville Senior Citizen’s Club.
   She was a former member of the Elks Club in Manville and Moose Lodge of Bound Brook.
   Her first husband, Anthony Bohonowsky; her second husband, Joseph Day; and two daughters, Anna Marie Cirka and Antonette Bohonovsky; are deceased.
   Surviving are a daughter, Cyndy Bohonovsky of Burbank, Calif.; three sons, George, Walter and Richard Bohonowsky of Manville; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held Aug. 2 from Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home in Manville, followed by a funeral liturgy at Christ the King Church. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
