Joseph Zukasky Jr.

   MANVILLE — Joseph Anthony Zukasky Jr. died Aug. 3 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 64.
   He was a long time resident of Manville.
   Mr. Zukasky was employed at Egan Machinery Co. Davis Standard of Bridgewater for 46 years. He most recently held the position of machine shop supervisor.
   He taught blue print reading/math and machine shop for over 20 years at Somerset County Vocational Technical School in Bridgewater, teaching both high school and adult classes.
   He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
   He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Zukasky; a granddaughter, Jaime Anglea Andino; and his brother, Edward.
   Survivors includes, his wife, Nancy Zukasky of Manville; three children and their families, Jodi Andino of Napa, Calif., Jim Zukasky and Gina Zukasky of Manville; his mother, Hazel Morris of North Brunswick; his sister, Nora Losi of Monroe Township; his brother, Thomas of Plainfield; and six grandchildren.
   A short prayer service was held Aug. 7 at Bridgewater Funeral Home in Bridgewater. Interment was in St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater.
   Memorial donations may be made in his name to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, 34th Street and Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104-4399 for CDH research.
