   Marcos Lopez, no age or address given, was charged with fraud at 2:03 p.m. July 20 after allegedly using a stolen credit card to make purchases.
   Mr. Lopez was released after posting $10,000 bail.

   Craig Howell, Nicholas Denesevich, Brian Dugan and a 17-year-old, no addresses given, were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 9:22 p.m. July 21.
   Police reported finding the drugs while responding to a noise complaint at a South Sixth Avenue house. All four were released after being charged.

   Justin Musumeci, 31, of South 18th Avenue, was charged with disorderly conduct after a police station security camera recorded him kicking and shaking a lamppost, kicking a street sign and throwing a bench onto North Main Street at 2:05 a.m. July 22, police said. Mr. Musumeci was charged at a later date, after police had reviewed the video, and then was released.

   A Best Little Market Deli and Grocery employee found garbage dumped in front of the West Camplain road store at 5:58 a.m. July 26. Police reported that approximately three bags of garbage were dumped in front of the store during the night.

   A gray 2004 Chevy van at the Adesa Auto Auctions lot caught fire at 10:31 p.m. July 26. The Fire Department extinguished the fire; no damage estimate was available.

   Police, the Fire Department, and the Rescue Squad were dispatched to Mia Sorella on North Main Streetat 7:49 a.m. July 27 for a Dumpster fire. Police reported that the outside of the building was burning as well, causing minor damage. A plastic container used to hold tablecloths also was damaged. An investigation is ongoing.

   A Roosevelt Avenue resident reported the theft of eight folding chairs, valued at $160, from his residence at 11:20 p.m. July 29. The caller also reported the theft of a stacked washer and dryer set that had been outside of the residence. The washer and dryer are valued at $100.

   Christopher Tacack, 21, of South Sixth Avenue, was charged with burglary, theft, and possession of a hypodermic needle at 12:12 a.m. July 30 on West Camplain Road after allegedly burglarizing a home.
   After processing, Mr. Tacack was transported to Somerset County Jail.

   At 2:26 p.m. Aug. 2 Artur Oliwa, 27, of South Fifth Avenue, was charged with failing to pay two outstanding traffic warrants after a traffic stop on North Main Street.
   He was released after paying a $1,000 warrant out of Manville and a $878 warrant out of Bridgewater.

   Police responded to a report of gunshots near Kennedy Boulevard at 7:02 p.m. Aug. 20. Police reported the sound had come from a toy cannon.

   Patrols responded to a fire behind Riverview Pools on Kennedy Avenue at 9:50 p.m. Aug. 2.
   The Fire Department extinguished fires coming from a Ford Windstar minivan and a Chevy pickup truck. Police are investigating the cause of the fires.

   Shamari Hawthorne, 27, of Orange, was charged with hindering arrest at 3:42 p.m. Aug. 5 after she gave false information to a police officer. No other details about the charges were available
   Ms. Hawthorne was transported to Somerset County Jail in default of $1,500 cash bail.
