Rosedale Park event canceled

Reset for Aug. 17

The scheduled opening of the newly renovated Rosedale Park and the "Movie in the Park" planned for tonight (Aug. 10) has been canceled due to inclement weather.
Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes will welcome residents and their families to the newly renovated Rosedale Park in Hopewell Township at 6 p.m. next Friday, Aug. 17.
Mr. Hughes will help kick off Rosedale Park’s "Movie in the Park" next Friday, which will be preceded by a classic car show and oldies concert. The free event begins at 6:15 p.m. as "The Rocketmen" perform oldies tunes for the crowd. Visitors also can check out the classic cars that will be on display before the featured movie, the Oscar-winning animated film, "Happy Feet," which will begin at 9 p.m.
Admission is free, but food vendors will be present. Visitors who plan on watching the movie are asked to bring their own blankets, chairs, and other comfort items such as bug spray.
The park is located off Federal City Road.
