SOLEBURY — Police are investigating a residential burglary that occurred on Route 32 while the family was away on a four-day trip last week.
The burglar made off with a handgun, a pickup truck, camera equipment and a flat-screen television.
The missing items were reported to police at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday when the residents returned from Rhode Island.
Police had no suspects Tuesday. They have collected footprints and fingerprints from the home at 2843 Route 32, and information about the missing firearm and vehicle has been entered into the FBI’s National Crime Information Center database, Chief Dominick Bellizzie said.
The handgun is a 9 mm silver Taurus valued at about $350.
The truck is a blue 1993 Ford F20 pickup valued at about $5,000. The owner had left the keys inside it.
