   Catalino Arenas
   
   WASHINGTON — Catalino Arena, 77, died Tuesday, Aug. 7 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
   Dr. Arena was born April 30, 1930 in Naic, Cavite, Philippines. A valedictorian graduate from Western Cavite Institute, Dr. Arena received an Associate in Arts at the University of Santo Tomas (The Catholic University in the Philippines) in Manila, Philippines. He remained at the University of Santo Tomas to complete his Doctorate of Medicine on April 30, 1954.
   Dr. Arenas began his medical career in the United States completing his internship at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady, NY. He received his residency training in general surgery at Monmouth Memorial Hospital in Long Branch, N.J. and St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, N.J. Upon completion of his residency in 1960, Dr. Arenas joined the medical staff at Helen Fuld Hospital in Trenton and then Trenton General Hospital (later to become Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton). Licensed to practice medicine and surgery, he joined the offices of Drs. John Gindhart and William Wittenborn where he continued to provide care to the community at 1213 Hamilton Ave. in Trenton for more than thirty years.
   Highlights of Dr. Arenas’ career included his association with Hamilton Hospital, now Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton. In 1971, when Hamilton Hospital opened its doors at its present location, Dr. Arenas was selected to organize the emergency room where he remained Chairman of Emergency Services from 1971 to 1981. He also served as Chief of General Surgery from 1979 to 1983.
   Dr. Arenas was a Fellow of the American Society of Abdominal Surgeons and a member of the Mercer County Medical Society. He was a former member of the Washington Township Lion’s Club and a founding member of the Naic Cavite Association. His community service included his position as health officer for Washington Township.
   Dr. Arenas was the son of the late Proceso Arenas, M.D. and the late Aurea Nazareno Arenas. He is survived by his immediate family including his wife, Eileen Botter Arenas; his children, David Arenas, Ph.D., Richard Arenas, M.D. and spouse, Patricia Boone, Ph.D., and his siblings, Gregoria Arena Camilo, M.D. and spouse Captain (ret.) Conrado Camilo, Emerita Arenas Guitierrez, M.D. and spouse Perpetuo Guitierrez, M.D. Sister Natividad Arenas, Flora Arenas, Marina Arenas and Eva Arenas, M.D.
   The funeral was held at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, Aug, 11 from the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church, Hamilton. Burial was in Princeton Memorial Park.    Anthony Henry
   HAMILTON — Anthony Michael Henry, 14, died Monday, Aug. 6 at St. Christopher’s Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa.
   Born in Trenton, he was a life-long Hamilton resident.
   Anthony was a student, soccer and baseball player at Reynolds Middle School, Hamilton Township. He graduated in June and in Sept. would have started his freshman year at Steinert High School, Hamilton Township. He was a member of U-14 Hiberian Celtics Soccer Team and played in the Hamilton Babe Ruth League. He was an avid Eagles football and Yankees baseball fan.
   Anthony is survived by his parents, John M. and Catherine L. Russo Henry; a brother Michael Henry and a sister, Nina Henry, both at home; a step-sister, Amanda Schafer of Doylestown, Pa.; his paternal grandparents, John F. and Dolores L. Henry of Hamilton Township; his maternal grandparents, John M. Jr. and Joan C. Russo of Robbinsville; aunts and uncles, Jerry Henry, Gary and Annie Henry, John C. III and Doreen Russo, Patricia and Joseph Celinski, Thomas and Hope Marie Russo, and Joseph Russo; cousins. Erica and Dan Witzel. Jenna, Joseph, and Nicholas Celinski, and John Paul and Michelle Henry; and many other relatives and friends.
   A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 555 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Yardville. Burial followed at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anthony Michael Henry’s memory to the Michael and Nina Henry Scholarship Fund, c/o Yardville National Bank, 1099 Whitehorse Ave., Trenton, NJ 08610, Attention: Susan Valentino Paglione.
   Mary Hedrick
   CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Mary Ellen Kenney Hedrick, 57, a Hamilton Township native, who resided in Virginia for more than 30 years, died Sunday, July 29 after a long illness.
   Born in Trenton and a graduate of Steinert High School, she resided in Chesapeake at the time of her death and previously lived in Virginia Beach. She was the proprietor of The Flower Company for the last 20 years and a member of the Light of Christian Center in Virginia Beach.
   Sister of the late Barbara Ann DiNatale, she is survived by her parents. James B. and Marguerite Kenney of Hamilton; her husband, Joseph Hedrick; a daughter, Sandra R. and husband, Roy Munden and a son, Mark W. Rinz, all of Virginia Beach. She is also survived by her brother, James T. and wife Marcia Kenney of Hamilton Square; nieces, Tracy and her husband, Peter Beckett of Allentown and Shannon and husband Darren Marabello of Manalapan; and her aunt, Ellen Robertson of Key Largo, Fla. She is also survived by her step-family, Louis and Mary Ellen Hedrick and their three children of Harrisonburg, Va. and Stephen and wife Debra Joy Hedrick and their three children of Dayton, Va.
   A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11 at Kingston and Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Vincent DiLiberto Jr.

HAMILTON — Vincent S. DiLiberto Jr., 37, died Friday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Hamilton, Hamilton Township.
   Born in Trenton, Mr. DiLiberto was a lifelong Hamilton resident.
   Mr. DiLiberto is survived by his parents, Vincent S. and Elaine Schmidt DiLiberto, with whom he resided; a brother and sister-in-law, Daniel E. and Raquel Baez DiLiberto of Washington Township; his aunts and uncles, Mark and Maryann DiLiberto of Hamilton Township, Salvatore DiLiberto of Rhode Island, Linda Andrews of Perry, FL, and Joan and Jim Borocz of New Egypt; a great-aunt and great-uncle, Terry and Anthony Cosentino of Dix Hills, Long Island, NY, and many cousins and friends.
   Funeral services were held. Tuesday at the Brenna Funeral Home, 340 Hamilton Ave., Trenton. Brother Tito Santiago of the Cherry Hill Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses officiated.
   Entombment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Washington Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Bancroft School, Hopkins Lane, Haddonfield, NJ 08033, or Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2999 Klockner Road, Hamilton, NJ 08690.
Sophie Mazur

   MARIETTA, Ga. — Sophie P. Mazur (nee Dziak), 87, died in Marietta, GA on Thursday. She was born in Trenton and resided in Elizabeth, Atlanta, Ga. and Marietta.
   She is survived by her daughter, Denise Brennan of Marietta, GA; her son, Michael J. Mazur Jr. of Avondale Estates, GA; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Josephine Rak of Cream Ridge; sister-in-law Dolores and Charles Messina of Bayville; brother-in-law John and Mary Mazur of Lakehurst; and numerous nieces and nephews.
   A memorial Mass was held Monday at the Catholic Church of St. Ann’s, Marietta, Ga. There was no public visitation and interment will be private at Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
Anthony X. Wisowaty
ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS — Anthony "Tony" X. Wisowaty died Aug. 3 at the Atlantic Highlands Care Center. He was 93.
   He was an artist. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and began studying art in the New York school system in the 1920s. He often spoke about a program that allowed him to spend afternoons in the New York museums, painting. His favorite subject was the Brooklyn Bridge. His wife, Helga, moved their family to Roosevelt in 1958 when he got a job in the silk screen industry with Tom True Studios in Lambertville. He was one of many artists living in Roosevelt at that time, and counted among his friends Ben and Bernarda Shahn, Gregorieo Prestopino and Stefan Martin.
   He lost his wife Helga in 2002, after 50 years of marriage. He is survived by his brother Henry; his daughter Paula; his sons Martin and John; his granddaughter Dawn; his grandsons James and Grant; and two great-grandsons, Xavier and Anthony. A private memorial service is planned for a later date. John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown, is in charge of the arrangements.
