Ann Elizabeth Sterling
HIGHTSTOWN Ann Elizabeth Sterling 72, died Tuesday at her home.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., she lived in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, for many years before moving to Hightstown 27 years ago.
At the time of her death, she was employed as a Realtor by Prudential Fox and Roach Realtors in Princeton for more than 20 years.
Predeceased by her parents, James C. and Anna C. (Hoffman) McFee, she is survived by her husband of 51 years, William Sterling; two sons and daughters-in-law Mark W. and Colleen Sterling of Toronto, Canada, and James Scott and Pat Sterling of Galloway; daughter and son-in-law Susan Lynn and Richard Lovering of Robbinsville; grandchildren Julia Claire Sterling, Holly Elizabeth Lovering, William Allen Lovering and Brian James Sterling; and brother James H. McFee of Hightstown.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. today at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown.
Private cremation will follow the service.
Emma Pullen
WESLACO, Texas Emma Pullen, 105, died July 25 at Valley Grande Manor Nursing Home.
Born in Bergen Mills, she was a longtime resident of Hightstown until September 1999, when she moved to Siesta Village in Weslaco to live with her daughter and son-in-law.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hightstown for 83 years.
Predeceased by her husband, Charles W. Pullen, daughter and son-in-law Doris and Bahrend Newton, brothers George, Robert, Nelson and Joseph Mount; and sister Ellenor Tyndale, she is survived by daughter and son-in-law Florence and Larry Wenzell; grandsons Charles and James Newton, and Jack Wenzell; great-granddaughter Jaclyn Wenzell; two great-grandsons; and sisters Annabel Wyhnanez and Katherine Wilmot.
A memorial service was held at First United Methodist Church of Hightstown.
Interment will be at 10 a.m. today in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown.
Arrangements are under the direction of Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown.
Judith Block Rosen
EAST WINDSOR Judith M. Block Rosen, 66, died Aug. 11 at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in the Bronx before moving to East Windsor 33 years ago.
Before retiring in 2004, she was a collections clerk for Selective Insurance in Hamilton, where she worked 12 years.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Arthur; sons Jay Scott Rosen of East Windsor and Paul Gary Rosen and his wife, Marsha, of Rochester, N.Y.; daughter Deborah Gullo and her husband, James, of Dayton; sister Nina Messler of Sun City Center, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday under the direction of Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick.
Alice Ritchie Navin
HIGHTSTOWN Alice Anne Ritchie Navin, 82, died Tuesday at Meadow Lakes.
Born in Chicago, she was raised outside Detroit. She was a Liggett School graduate, attended Swarthmore College, and was a 1945 graduate of the University of Michigan.
She served with the American Red Cross in the Philippines from 1945 to 1946 at the end of World War II.
She married Robert E. Navin in 1949 and they were divorced in the 1960s.
She moved to Princeton in 1957 and was a 39-year resident before moving to Meadow Lakes in 1996.
From 1960 to 1968, she was worked for Lloyd Free, Hadley Cantril and Sir Arthur Lewis at the Institute for International Social Research.
During the mid-1960s and the nascent years of computer technology, she learned Fortran programming at Rutgers University and became a programmer and part of technical support at Princeton University and the Woodrow Wilson School and the Princeton University Computer Center. She worked at the university from 1968 to 1981.
She assisted in developing the first computerized members’ database for the Historical Society of Princeton and served many years as a Pink Lady at the front information desk at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
She was an avid reader and needlepointer, often creating her own designs.
She is survived by sons Robert E., of Vienna, Va., Thomas R. of New York City and Richard C. of Montgomery; sister Jennie Q. Madden of Rochester Hills, Mich.; brother Buel T. Quirk of DeBary, Fla.; and grandchildren Andrew, Caroline, Alexander, Lindsey and Samuel.
Internment will be at Princeton Cemetery in a family ceremony.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Arthritis Association, the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Maria Dorothea Eirich
HIGHTSTOWN Maria Dorothea (Dehne) Eirich died July 28 at Meadow Lakes after eight months of hospice care.
Born in Vienna, Austria, where she studied at the Kunstgeverbe Schule for six years, she fled with her family to Cambridge, England before World War II. In 1947, she came to the United States, where her husband, Frederick Eirich, taught school at Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute. She and her family lived in Tuckahoe, N.Y. until she and her husband moved to Meadow Lakes.
Wife of the late Frederick Eirich, she is survived by daughters Ursula Moeller and her husband, Richard, of Santa Fe, N.M., and Susan Eirich and her partner, Jean Simpson, of Driggs, Idaho; grandchildren Chris Moeller of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Kevin Moeller of Santa Fe; great-grandchildren Tessa and Eric Moeller of Pittsburgh; and many nieces and nephews in the United States and Europe.
Private graveside services will be held Saturday in Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury.

Claire Boye
MESA, Ariz. Claire Boye, 86, died Aug. 8.
Born in Frankfurt, Germany, in 1921, she came to the United State S in 1951 and became an American citizen shortly after.
Daughter of the late Heinrich and Babette Emde; sister of the late Louise Weiss and Carl Emde; and wife of the late Lester Boye, she is survived by sons Edward Boye of Hightstown and Frederick Boye of Mesa; daughter Edith Hoffman of Hightstown; grandchildren Greg Hoffman and Deanna Merkel; great-grandchildren Kayla Rowley, Jacob Merkel and Lindsay and Greg Hoffman Jr.
Interment is private.
