Jacob Gross
   HAMILTON — Jacob C. Gross, 89, died Saturday at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mount Holly.
   Born in Hamilton Township and a lifelong resident there, he was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific Theatre.
   Mr. Gross retired from Bayer Aspirin Company of Trenton after 30 years of service.
   He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, VFW Post 3525 and the Washington Township Seniors.
   Father of the late Linda Riniker, Mr. Gross is survived by his wife of 65 years, Nina Stark Gross; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Fred Gierman of Columbus; a brother, Richard Gross of California; eight grandchildren, Katrina, Keith, Hilary, Jennifer, Katie, Benjamin, Mark and Laura; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were Wednesday at New Testament Baptist Church, Hamilton, followed by burial with military honors in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Paolo (Paul) Morichetti
   BURLINGTON — Paolo (Paul) Morichetti, 76, of Burlington died Friday at Lourdes Hospital, Willingboro.
   Born and raised in Florence, son of the late Prasildo and Antonia Morichetti, he had lived in Burlington 43 years. He retired as a maintenance mechanic from Occidental Chemical Co. after 22 years of service.
   Mr. Morichetti was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Korean War Veterans Association, Florence American Legion Post 194 and a life member of the Burlington VFW Post 1817. He was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus, and a life member of the National Rifle Association and the Amici Della Lingua Italiana Association.
   Mr. Morichetti was a parishioner of St. Paul’s Church.
   Father of the late Lorena and Roberto Morichetti and brother of the late Albert Morichetti, he is survived by his wife of 49 years, Maria (Ceil) Del Guadio Morichetti; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Antonio (Tony) and Dawn Morichetti, and Joseph Morichetti, all of Burlington; a sister, Frances Tondi of Florence; a brother and sister-in-law, Bruno and Ida Morichetti of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Ashley, Joshua, Brielle and Brittany Morichetti; and several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held Wednesday at Dennison Funeral Home, Florence. Mass of Christian Burial took place at St. Paul’s Church, Burlington, followed by burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Burlington

Stephen Goeke
   BORDENTOWN — Stephen J. Goeke, 67, died Aug. 16 at his home.
   Born in Princeton, son of the late Frederick and Matie Goeke, he had been a resident of Bordentown for several years.
   Mr. Goeke was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked as a physical plant engineer with ETS in Princeton. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
   He was preceded in death by two baby sisters, two brothers, William and James Edward Goeke, and stepson Brian Kranch.
   Surviving are his wife, Veronica Goeke; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Patricia Goeke, and James and Crystal Goeke; his daughter and son-in-law, Laura Ann and James Hess; and grandchildren Benjamin and Ariston.
   Mr. Goeke is also survived by stepchildren Bret Smith and his son Kyle, and Karen Kmiec and her husband Jason and their children, Emily and Bryan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frederick and Audrey Goeke, Robert and Virginia Goeke, and Charles Goeke; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Viviano Martin, Veronica and Paul Pettipas, and Virginia and Fred Holly; sisters-in-law Mary and Brenda Goeke; nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; cousins and friends.
   Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Hopewell, followed by interment in Highland Cemetery.
   Arrangements were by the Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home, Hopewell. Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Ave., 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.
John Esco Couch Jr.
   FLORENCE — John Esco Couch Jr. (founder of the Gentleman’s Ball), 68, died Aug. 14 at St. Francis Medical Center.
   He was a retired employee of Trenton Water Works with 40 years of service. He was the oldest son of John E. Couch Sr. and Ruth Clyburn Couch, and brother of the late Reginald Edward Couch.
   Mr. Couch is survived by his wife Phylis Williams-Knight Couch; a son John Eric; two daughters DeeAnn Renee Couch and Robin Michelle Couch; five grandchildren Jonathan Couch Smith, Quenten A. Couch, Chanelle M. Case, Kiera and Alexis Couch; three step-children John Knight (Michelle), LaVonia Brown (Reginald), and Shielynn E. Sapp (Ronald); and a host of other relatives and friends.
   Funeral services were Tuesday at Shiloh Baptist Church, 340 Rev. S. Howard Woodson Jr. Way, Trenton. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
Edward J. Dimon
   Dr. Edward J. Dimon, 88, of Roebling, died Aug. 13 in Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mount Holly.
   Dr. Dimon was born in Trenton, the son of the late George and Mary Vrabel Dimon and the brother of the late John Dimon, Esq. He resided in Roebling lifelong.
   He retired in 2000 after practicing dentistry in Roebling for 54 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
   Dr. Dimon was a graduate of Bordentown High School Class of 1937, Villanova Univeristy and Temple University School of Dentistry. He was a member of the Florence Township Board of Education and served as the Florence Township School District dentist for 40 years. He was a MJ Marine police officer with 10 years service.
   Dr. Dimon was a member of St. Clare’s Catholic Church, Florence and Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 63-year member of the Willitts-Hogan-Tonne American Legion Post 39, Roebling; Holy Cross High School Father’s Club, serving as president in 1961-62. He also was a member of the Trenton County Club, member and past commodore of the Normandy Beach Yacht Club.
   He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marion A. Dougherty Dimon; a son and daughter-in-law, Edward J. and Jane Dimon of Brielle; a daughter, Margaret Mary “Mimi” Dimon of Roebling and Normandy Beach; five grandchildren and their spouses, Drs. Cain and Karin Dimon of Novi, Mich.; Christopher and Dana Dimon of Fanwood-Scotch Plains; Meg and Guy Douglas of London, England; Catherine Dimon of Hoboken and Patrick Dimon of Aspen, Colo.; six great-grandchildren, Lily Dimon, Finlay Douglas, Jack Dimon, Mary Douglas, Owen Dimon and Eva Dimon; a brother and sister-in-law, George and Mary Dimon of Roebling; five sisters-in-law, Margaret Dougherty, Jane Dougherty, Catherine Dougherty and Virginia Dimon of Florence and Murial Dougherty of Columbus; many nieces and nephews and their families.
   Funeral was held Friday at Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, Roebling. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Florence.
