Floyd Weinstock

   Dr. Floyd Weinstock, 53, of Pennington, died Friday of a traumatic brain injury sustained in a rollerblading accident.
   Dr. Weinstock was an ophthalmologist in private practice in Lawrenceville.
   A 1975 graduate of Princeton University, he earned his medical degree at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 1979 and trained at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
   Born in White Plains, NY, he resided in Chicago and Philadelphia before settling in Pennington 21 years ago.
   A pianist, he was known for his interest in film, theater and modern art. He also played high school soccer and was often seen rollerblading on Pennington-area roads.
   Dr. Weinstock is survived by his wife of 32 years, Maureen (nee O’Neill); and children, Erin Weinstock, 21, a graduate of Stuart Country Day School and Hamilton College, and Princeton Day School graduate Matthew Weinstock, 19, who attends Brown University.
   A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton, 50 Cherry Hill Road, Princeton.
   Arrangements are by Blackwell Funeral Home, Pennington.
   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Princeton Day School Scholarship Fund.
