Dorothy Bogert Savidge, 92, of Washington, Vt., died Monday in Sewell.
She and her family were residents of the Hopewell Township-Lambertville area for many years.
Born in Wycoff, she attended school in Hackensack and graduated from Trenton State College in 1935 with a degree in elementary education.
She taught elementary school in Point Pleasant, West Amwell and Hopewell Township school systems.
Predeceased by her parents Ella Hoover and Leroy Duthie Bogert, her husband of 70 years, George S. Savidge, who died on March 27, and her sister, Thelma Roby, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and James Jefferis of Monroeville; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Mary of Washington, Vt., Peter and Brenda of Princeton, Paul of Falmouth Foreside, Maine, and Mark of Chelsea, Vt.; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was a member of the United Church of Chelsea, Vt. She was active in the Senior Citizens of Chelsea, Vt., and was a member of the Green Mountain Hooking Guild.
Graveside services will be held on Sept. 1 at 11 a.m. at Highland Cemetery, Hopewell.
A remembrance service on a date to be announced will be held in Chelsea, Vt.
