Aug. 20 at 5:58 p.m. Reported dwelling fire on Mechanicsville Road near Sugan Road, Solebury Township.
One engine was dispatched with Midway Fire Company. It was a brush that looked like it was coming from the dwelling.
Twenty personnel were on duty for 30 minutes.
Aug. 22 at 1:39 p.m. Alarm system, Bridge Street, New Hope.
One engine responded, and a second engine and ladder were on standby. There were 18 personnel on duty for 30 minutes.
Aug. 23 at 6:07 p.m. Alarm system, River Road, north of Route 263, Solebury Township.
One engine responded, but was recalled as the alarm was set off by accident. There were 17 personnel on duty for 30 minutes.
Aug. 25 at 3:34 p.m. Reported fire on the roof of a building on South Main Street, New Hope.
The fire was found to be from an electric line coming from the street to the building. It burned itself out. The building did not have any damage.
Tower and engine responded; 20 personnel were on duty for one hour.
Aug. 25 at 6:32 p.m. The tower was dispatched to Lambertville for a reported dwelling fire on York Street.
It was recalled just before arriving. Thirteen personnel were on duty for 45 minutes.
Aug. 26 at 6:08 p.m. The Marine unit was dispatched to the Delaware River at the wingdam near New Hope.
There were two people who went through the dam in a canoe and upset. Both subjects were rescued from the rocks, but did not appear to be injured. They were turned over to the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad to be checked out.
One engine also was dispatched to stand by along the river. Seventeen personnel were on duty for 1.5 hours.
