Teri Manes, health educator with the Middlesex County Health Department, will offer a presentation titled “Fitness Walking” at the next meeting of the Middlesex Chapter of the Brandeis University National Women’s Committee set for 1 p.m. on Sept. 5 at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center.
Manes will share information on how far to walk, how to set one’s own pace and how to do warm-up and cool-down stretches.
Participants should wear comfortable clothes and shoes and be prepared to take a walk after the session.
Admission is free of charge. All are welcome to attend.
The Middlesex Chapter of the Brandeis University National Women’s Committee raises funds for the libraries at Brandeis University, Waltham, Mass. Individuals need not be Brandeis graduates to join the panel.
