Mary Van Cleef

   HOMOSASSA, Fla. — Mary S. Van Cleef died Aug. 8 in Homosassa, Fla. She was 97.
   Mrs. Van Cleef was an elementary school teacher.Her husband, C. Irving Van Cleef of Hillsborough, died in 1990.
   She was a former member of the Hillsborough Reformed Church in Millstone and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
   Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Dowches of Homosassa, Fla., and Susan Hall of Basking Ridge; a son, Neil I. Van Cleef of Hillsborough; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas Skillman, A. Dix Skillman and Harold Skillman of Montgomery.
   Private graveside services were held.
