Lillian Haustowich
Lillian F. Kozlowski Haustowich died Aug. 21 at the Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mount Holly. She was 75.
Born in Trenton, Mrs. Haustowich was a lifelong Trenton and Lawrence resident. She retired in 1982 after 33 years with the Westinghouse Electric Company, Lamp Division, in Trenton.
She enjoyed bowling for many years and bowled in various local leagues. She also taught children to bowl at the former Brunswick Circle Lanes. Additionally she was an avid walker and bicycling enthusiast down the Jersey Shore.
Mrs. Haustowich loved her family and her road trips to Atlantic City as well as finding "treasures" on her many travels locally and at the shore.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Hartonczyk Kozlowski and sister of the late George, Joseph and Franklin Kozlowski and Helen Koper, she is survived by three nephews and eight nieces, and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services were held Aug. 25 at the Winowicz Funeral Chapel, Trenton. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hamilton Township.

Anthony Zamparelli
HAMILTON Anthony A. Zamparelli died Aug. 20 in the Temple University Hospital. He was 81.
Born in Trenton and a lifelong area resident, Mr. Zamparelli was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II.
He retired as a manager for the A & P Company where he served for several local supermarkets in the Trenton area. He was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Church.
Son of the late Alphonse and Maria Germani Zamparelli, and husband of the late Anne Velenger Zamparelli, he is survived by his daughter Debra Zamparelli, with whom he resided; a granddaughter, Stefania Zamparelli; three brothers, Renaldo Zamparelli, of Puerto Rico, John Zamparelli, of Hawaii and Leo Zamparelli, of Mount Holly; a sister, Mary Tozzi, of Lawrence; two goddaughters, Kay Knoblauch and Patricia Dugan, both of Trenton; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Aug. 24 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Entombment was in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery mausoleum.
Floyd Weinstock
PENNINGTON Floyd Weinstock, MD, died Friday of a traumatic brain injury sustained in a rollerblading accident. He was 53.
Dr. Weinstock was an ophthalmologist in private practice in Lawrence. A 1975 graduate of Princeton University, he received his medical degree at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 1979 and trained at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
Born in White Plains, N.Y., he resided in Chicago and Philadelphia before settling in Pennington 21 years ago. A pianist with an understanding and appreciation of music, he was known for his love of film, theater and modern art. He also had an enduring interest in sports, from tending goal in high school soccer to teaching his children to ski. For many years, he has been a familiar figure rollerblading on the roads of Pennington, where he covered a six-mile route several times a week. His primary focus was always his wife and children.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Maureen, and their children, Erin and Matthew.
A memorial service was held Tuesday at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Princeton Day School Scholarship Fund.
Helen Walentine
PRINCETON TOWNSHIP Helen T. Karcz Walentine died Aug. 24 at the St. Joseph’s Residence at Morris Hall, Lawrence. She was 87.
Born in Trenton, Mrs. Walentine was a lifelong resident in the Lawrence and Princeton Township area.
She retired in 1971 after 15 years as an electronic assembler for TIA Electronics Company at their Princeton facility.
Mrs. Walentine was an avid home gardener, seamstress and gourmet cook. She also raised African Violets from seed. Her total delight was enjoying her grandchildren by making them special treats and specialty baked goods.
Daughter of the late Ignac and Catherine Owczarek Karcz, wife of the late Joseph L. Walentine, sister of the late Harriet Ricatto, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and John Wilkinson, of East Windsor, and Linda J. and Kenneth Kawalek, of Lawrence; three grandsons, Christopher Wilkinson, Johnathan and wife Amy Wilkinson and Eric and his wife Kelly Kawalek; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Tuesday in the Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel at Morris Hall, Lawrence. Entombment was in the Chapel of the Crucifixion in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Hamilton Township.

Phyllis Puliti-Kelso
HAMILTON Phyllis Puliti-Kelso died Saturday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton. She was 82.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Puliti-Kelso was a retired medical secretary from the Walson Hospital at Fort Dix. She also was an active member of the St. Raphael’s Church, the Elderberry and Golden Nuggets senior citizens clubs and the VFW Post 3525 Ladies Auxiliary.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Marriffino Radice, and wife of the late Jack F. Puliti and William John Kelso, she is survived by her children, son John Puliti, of Hamilton, and daughter Andrea Chiara and her granddaughter, Jessica Chiara, both of Roebling; and a sister, Marilyn and husband Louis Nalbone, of Hawley, Pa. Also survived by step-daughters Linda Vento, Debbie Fluck, Patricia Driscoll and Billie Jean Harlinski; brother-in-law and wife James and Yvonne Puliti, of Hamilton; sisters-in-law Marie and husband Anthony Rosati, of Trenton, and Patricia Puliti, of Lawrence; and several step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. today at the Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, 260 White Horse Ave., Hamilton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. at the St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish at St. Raphael’s Church, Hamilton. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, in Hamilton.
