   Beginning Sunday, Sept. 9, The United Methodist Church of Cranbury, North Main Street, will resume its regular worship hours.
   Religious education will be at 9 a.m. for 2-year-olds to adults, worship services will be at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., and childcare will be available during the 11 a.m. service.

   Congregation Etz Chaim, at the Monroe Township Jewish Center, Cornell Avenue, has announced its schedule for its High Holy Day services.
   For Rosh Hashana: On Wednesday, Sept. 12, evening services will be 7:30 p.m. On Thursday, Sept. 13, morning services will be 9:30 a.m., with Taschlich at the lake at 1 p.m. On Friday, Sept. 14, morning services will be 9:30 a.m. and children’s services will be 1 p.m.
   For Yom Kippur: On Friday, Sept. 21, Kol Nidre will be 7 p.m. On Saturday, Sept. 22, morning services will be 9:30 a.m., Yizkor will be 1 p.m., children’s services will be 2:30 p.m., afternoon services will be 4:30 p.m., N’ilah will be 6 p.m. and Havdalah will be at sundown.

   Etz Chaim Sociable Singles will holds its after-summer event on Sunday, Sept. 23 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Monroe Township Jewish Center, Cornell Avenue.

   The Nativity of Our Lord Church, Applegarth Road functioning committees and placed them under its St. Vincent de Paul Society umbrella in August 2006.
   The organizations include: The Prayer Shawl Ministry, which often works with the Respect Life Ministry to enhance its projects; The Caring Meal group, with makes and delivers soul and meals to the homebound; the CCD liaison organizes programs to assist the Social Concern Ministry; and the monthly food pantry collection and Giving Tree project, which delivers donations to Monroe Township for distribution. Home visits are also made to those who place a request, and financial aide is available to families and individuals in need.
