HEALTH & MEDICINE
   Dr. Stanley Cohen, chair of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UMDNJ, has assumed the role of vice president of the American Society for Investigative Pathology. As vice president, he will automatically succeed to the presidency of ASIP in 2009.
   An avid photographer, Dr. Cohen resides in Princeton with his wife. They have three children and nine grandchildren.

   MDAdvantage has named James Clutter as vice president of sales and marketing. MDAdvantage Insurance Co. of NJ is a leading provider of medical professional liability insurance. The company is based in Lawrenceville.
FINANCIAL SERVICES
   Amper, Politziner & Mattia, Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, has announced that Lawrenceville resident Michele Glanton has joined the firm as a staff accountant in the firm’s tax and accounting group. Also new to the Princeton office is Kristina Roth, a staff accountant in the audit and accounting group.

   Tim Foster has joined Edison Venture Fund as business development manager. He will serve emerging growth companies in the mid-Atlantic region, working from the Lawrenceville office.
NONPROFIT
   Diana DiMaggio of Lawrenceville was recently appointed behaviorist and health care case manager for Enable Inc. As the behaviorist, she will be responsible for developing behavioral prevention and intervention plans for persons with disabilities served by Enable as well as providing crisis intervention.
   Additionally, Anna Marie Mascolo of Freehold Township was recently appointed director of finance for Enable Inc. She will be responsible for overseeing the financial resources and records for the organization and assisting with risk management.
   Enable Inc. serves individuals with disabilities and their families throughout the central New Jersey region and is headquartered in the West Windsor.

   Evelyn A. Gill, executive director of PEI Kids, located in Lawrenceville, was one of two recipients of the Ewing Kiwanis Businessperson of the Year Award.
   She is a co-founder of PEI Kids, then called Prevention Education Inc. in 1985. After working at an existing community nonprofit in the rape crisis program, she realized that the requests for help for children were numerous and that a child-specific program did not exist. Today this two-person agency has grown into a much larger organization, with a staff of more than 40 employees and 15 board members.

   Head Start manager Kenneth L. Outlaw has recently completed training through the Johnson & Johnson Management Fellows Program, an intensive two-week program conducted at UCLA Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles. The program was developed in 1991 to strengthen the management skills of Head Start administrators.
RESEARCH
   Mathematica Policy Research Inc. in West Windsor recently announced the appointment of Amy Johnson as senior vice president. She is also director of the firm’s surveys and information services division. During the past 10 years, she has served as associate director of SIS and director, Princeton Survey Research.
   Barbara Devaney was recently named senior vice president. Ms. Devaney, a Princeton resident, is also managing director of human services research. She has been affiliated with Mathematica for 30 years and is a nationally recognized expert in maternal and child health, nutrition, and risk-reduction programs for youth.
   Christopher Trenholm, a resident of Princeton, was recently named associate director of health research for the firm’s West Windsor office. Mr. Trenholm, an expert in risk reduction programs for youth, maternal and child health, and health insurance programs, will be responsible for recruiting, mentoring, and supervising health researchers in the firm’s New Jersey office.
MARKETING
   Oxford Communications, a consumer marketing firm based in Lambertville, announced the following new hires: T. Chris O’Leary has joined as traffic and production assistant; Melinda Brodbeck, as a public relations assistant account executive; Steve Krostyne, formerly of Princeton Communications Group in Pennington, was hired as an assistant account executive; and Lindsey Klinger has joined Oxford as an assistant account executive.

   JFK Communications Inc., based in South Brunswick, has hired Marisa Sharkey as vice president. She will oversee a mix of client services including oncology product public relations, media relations, media training, financial communications, employee communications, online communications, and patient advocacy relations.
RETAIL
   LaJobi Industries Inc., a Cranbury-based designer, manufacturer and distributor of juvenile furniture, announced the appointment of Vinnie Simonetti as account business manager for Babies "R" Us and Toys "R" Us. Mr. Simonetti brings 25 years of experience in product sales to this position, with 21 years specifically focusing on products in the juvenile industry as a manufacturers’ representative selling to the internet, mass merchandisers, independent retailers and regional accounts.
