Foundation’s Nov. 2 ball at new location

Event at new Mountainview Clubhouse at Mountainview Golf Club on Bear Tavern Road

Celebrate the accomplishments of the Hopewell Valley Recreation Foundation on Nov. 2 from 6:30-11:30 p.m. at the new Mountainview Clubhouse at Mountainview Golf Club on Bear Tavern Road.
”The venue is perfect for our party,” said trustee Sheryl Stone. “We can support a new recreation facility in the county by introducing recreation supporters in Hopewell Valley to the clubhouse.”
Last year at the Fall Ball, the challenge was to raise $212,000 for the completion of three additional fields at The Athletic Fields at Timberlane.
”We were able to reach our goal with the generosity of individuals, community organizations, recreational leagues, the school district, and neighboring corporations. This is our chance to celebrate what we have accomplished together,” said Ms. Stone.
Highlights of the fundraising over the past year included two field-naming grants from The Ryan Family and Bristol-Myers Squibb of $50,000. Janssen LP contributed $30,000 and ETS made a donation of $15,000.
The Recreation Foundation has raised over $700,000 for the Athletic Fields at Timberlane.
