The Old Bridge First Aid Squad and the township of Old Bridge will hold a nondenominational prayer and candlelight service at 7 p.m. on Sept. 11 on the Laurence Harbor beachfront.
Several religious leaders will lead the gathering in prayer and the lighting of candles at dark to honor those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
Representatives of Old Bridge emergency services will join religious leaders, political leaders and the public at the service. The evening will begin with “The Star Spangled Banner,” sung a cappella by Justin Grossman, a local high school student.
All are welcome to attend. Area parking will be limited.
