John B. Byrne
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP John B. Byrne, 76, formerly of Hightstown, died Aug. 31 in Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton.
Born in Hightstown, Mr. Byrne was a self-employed carpenter for 50 years and a devout member of the Catholic faith.
Son of the late Fred K. and Elizabeth (Braun) Byrne, and brother of the late Margaret B. Larkin and J. Vincent and Edward J. Byrne, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jean D. Byrne; seven sons and their spouses, William R. and Carol of Scottsdale, Ariz., Brian W. and Diane of Lewes, Del., Timothy J. and Deborah of East Windsor, Gregory J. of Florence, John B. Jr. and Dawn of Hamilton, Kevin M. and Debra of Collegeville, Pa., and Matthew E. and Megan of Robbinsville; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Gertrude and Milan Hodul, Elizabeth and James Setneska and Kathleen and Arthur Ezell; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred P. and Ann, and Robert and Rosemary Byrne; 13 grandchildren, Lauren, Jill, TJ, Megan, Shaun, Michael, Nicholas, Brianna, Kyle, Nicole, Stephanie, Courtney and Caitlyn; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held at the Saul Colonial Home, Hamilton Square. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Yardville. Interment followed in Dayton Cemetery.

Lillis
EAST WINDSOR Michelina "Molly" De Vito Lillis, 77, died Monday at home.
Born in New York City, she lived in East Windsor and was previously from Old Bridge, where she lived 29 years.
She was the secretary and treasurer of Jim’s Bagel Loft in Robbinsville.
Predeceased by her husband, Francis, in 1986, brother Guido De Vito and sister Columbia Stalikis, she is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Susan Lillis of Howell, Stephen Lillis of Plainsboro and James Lillis of East Windsor; daughter and son-in-law Ann Marie and William Holt of Cranbury; brother Nicholas De Vito of Florida; sister Dorothy Pane of Yardville; grandchildren April, Michael, Michelle, Jimmy, Frankie, Samantha, Christopher and Stephen; great-grandson Isaiah; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 251 Franklin St., Hightstown. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
