BORDENTOWN CITY
   Emily Napolitano, 20, of Bordentown City, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane after hitting a parked car Sunday, police said.
   Police arrived at the 500 block of Farnsworth Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Ms. Napolitano was sitting in her car, which had extensive front damage, according to police. She was not injured and was released to her father. A court date is scheduled for later this month.

   Police are urging residents to keep their cars locked when left unattended, even for a short period of time, due to a rash of car burglaries. Police said four incidents occurred within a 24-hour period Sunday, all during daylight hours.

   Police apprehended John Demeola, 44, of Wrightstown, after a traffic accident on southbound Route 130/206 Monday.
   When police arrived, Mr. Demeola climbed a fence and broke his foot in an attempt to run, police said. Police said he had outstanding warrants against him for charges outside their jurisdiction.
   While he was being treated, a friend paid the warrants in the amount of $2,300, police said. Mr. Demeola was not charged in relation to the accident and there were no injuries directly related to the accident.
BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP
   Thomas Bower Jr., 18, of Charles Bossert Drive, was charged with several drug violations following the execution of a search warrant at his residence Saturday.
   Police said they raided Mr. Bower’s home around 9 p.m. and found 45 grams of marijuana, four pills of the prescription drug hydromorphone, a digital scale and other drug paraphernalia.
   Daniel Stinehart, 19, of Sweetbriar Lane and a 14-year-old girl also were charged with possession at Mr. Bower’s home after they were also found in possession of marijuana. Mr. Bower’s mother, Terry Bower, 39, was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon after a butterfly knife was discovered in her bedroom during the search.
   Mr. Bower’s residence is located within 100 feet of the Peter Muschal Elementary School and within 500 feet of Bossert Park, a public park.
   Mr. Bower was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a prescription drug, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute in a school zone and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public park. He was sent to Burlington County Jail in default of $50,000 bail.
FLORENCE
   Christopher Hart, 21, of Philadelphia, Pa., was charged with contempt of court Saturday, police said.
   Mr. Hart was apprehended on Sixth Avenue in Roebling around 2 p.m. after an officer saw him attempting to hide on a porch. He was transported to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $2,350 bail.

   Police said Jason Karmazin, 22, of Morris Lane, and Brandon McKeithen, 22, of West Third Street, were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance Friday.
   Police said the two were traveling together on Columbus Road around 5 p.m. when Mr. Karmazin threw trash from the car. Police said they pulled the vehicle over and found greenish vegetation believed to be marijuana. Mr. Karmazin was also charged with littering from a motor vehicle. Both were arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were released pending a court date.
MANSFIELD
   A family was involved in a three-car accident on Sept. 6 on Route 68 in front of the Northern Burlington County Regional School District transportation lot.
   Eric Gaines and Maria Prato-Gaines of Midwest City, Okla., were driving to McGuire Air Force Base in separate cars at 12:41 a.m. As they were attempting to make a U-turn, another car rear-ended Ms. Gaines’ car, forcing her to rear-end Mr. Gaines’ vehicle, police said. The third car then caught fire.
   Police said the driver of the third car, Stephen Funkhouser, 24, of Fort Dix, was driving while intoxicated.
   The Gaines’ 4-year-old daughter was riding in the backseat of Ms. Gaines’ car at the time of the crash. The family was taken to Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Mr. and Ms. Gaines had complaints of pain and Ms. Gaines suffered a fractured thumb. They were treated and released.
   Mr. Funkhouser refused medical attention and was taken into police custody, police said. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and unlicensed driver. He was released pending a court date.
