Transportation, economic impact will be discussed
Capital Health System (CHS) has scheduled an information session for Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. at Hopewell Valley Central High School, 259 Pennington-Titusville Road, Hopewell Township.
Topics will include discussion of the results of transportation and economic impact studies relating to the proposed new hospital in Hopewell Township.
A transportation engineer and economic impact expert will be available to discuss the results of their studies, a CHS spokesman said.
CHS proposes to build a “tertiary, regional hospital on the 165-acre site in Hopewell Township, which was previously approved for development and zoned for hospital use.”
The site is on the east side of Scotch Road between I-95 and Merrill Lynch’s office park.
The Department of Health and Senior Services formally approved CHS’ application to relocate its Mercer facility to Hopewell Township on July 2.
