‘Pieces of My Sisters Life’:
The Lawrence Library, 2751 Brunswick Pike (Business Route 1) will hold a discussion group on the novel "Pieces of My Sisters Life," by Elizabeth Joy Arnold, at 10 a.m.
Identical twin sisters with a difficult childhood reflect on their past and reconcile their estrangement over a love triangle from 13 years before as one sister fights cancer.¶

Golf outing for PEI: PEI Kids, a Lawrence-based, nonprofit organization serving children in Mercer County, will hold its 10th annual Golf Outing at Falcon Creek Country Club, located at McGuire Airforce Base in Wrightstown.
Tee off time is at noon and registration is between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Prices are $125 for individual golfers and $480 for foursomes ($425 if signed up by Aug. 20). Prices include greens fees, cart, lunch on the course, afternoon beverages, dinner and prizes. Sponsorships at various levels also are available. Call (609) 695-3739 to register.
Garden club meeting: The Garden Gate Garden Club of Lawrenceville invites area residents to their next program, held at 7 p.m. at the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, 1039 Lawrence Road. Guest speakers are Jim Kinsel and Sherry Dudas from the Honey Brook Organic Farms, of Hopewell Township, who will speak about organic gardening. Refreshments will be served.
