    HAMILTON — Julius Persicketti died Saturday at home after a brief illness. He was 74.
   Born in Trenton, Mr. Persicketti was a longtime resident of Hamilton.
   He was a master shoe repairman who owned and operated John’s Shoe Repair in Princeton for 35 years until his retirement six weeks ago.
   He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, auto racing and was an avid dog lover.
   Son of the late Carmine and Marietta Persicketti, he is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dolores Persicketti; son Joseph Persicketti; daughter and son-in-law Debra and John Eisenbeil; sisters and brothers Ann Orsi, Katherine Grianbone, Dominick and John Persicketti, all of Hamilton, and Mary Dunbar of York, Maine; grandchildren Dana, Erica and John Eisenbeil Jr.; good friends and neighbors Robert and Melba Selmon, Joe Shargo, Helen Shargo, Ozzie and Ingrid Mazoriegos, all of Hamilton and Kim Oaties of Princeton.
   Calling hours are 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton.
   Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
