The South River Historical and Preservation Society will meet at 7 p.m. on Sept. 26 at the South River Museum, 64-66 Main St.
Guest speakers will be Chuck Eckhardt and Bob McAvoy, co-authors of “Our Brothers Gone Before: An Inventory of Graves and Cenotaphs in New Jersey Cemeteries for Union and Confederate Civil War Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Surgeons and Nurses.”
Refreshments will be served following the meeting. All are welcome.
The museum is open from 1:30-3:30 p.m. on the first Sunday of every month.
