How can Lawrence residents address ‘failed’ Route 206 intersection?

To the Editor:
On Monday, Sept. 10, the Diocese of Trenton brought their eloquent plans for Rosecliff Living Inc. before the Lawrence Township Planning Board. Several citizens of Lawrence felt it was an appropriate time and place to address the traffic problems at the intersection of Route 206, Franklin Corner Road (546) and the Lawrenceville-Pennington Road (546), where Rosecliff Living Inc. abuts. We were told that this particular intersection of highways was under the county and state jurisdiction and as a result Lawrence Township had no influence.
Is there no dialogue between the different levels of responsibility? How can we citizens of Lawrence address this problem of a “failed” intersection?
